Our Story
The company was founded in 2015 by Joseph Irving and Nicholas Sykes, two craftsmen who met while studying furniture design and manufacture at the world-renowned West Dean College. After developing and refining their skills over a combined 20-year period, the partners set up the company with a very clear vision, as Jo explains: “From the outset our ambition has been to push the boundaries in design and manufacture, producing hand-crafted, bespoke items using quality materials and innovative techniques. ”
That philosophy translates into everything the partners do, as Nick stresses: “We are passionate about precision and high quality craftsmanship and only use ethically-sourced timber from responsible UK saw mills. Consequently we are able to give our clients a professional and personalised service. ”
