The Barnstaple Hotel, hosted the North Devon Hospice, charity, Sportsman Dinner. Yet again the Chefs, Managers and Waiting Team provided an amazing event. www.iscabarum.co.uk were proud to be asked to sponsor an item for the Charity Auction. Great to see a full capacity event being supported by so many local businesses. Gareth Davis was the speaker and shared some of his lifetime experiences as one of the Rugby Greats.

Insight into our Commercial Director, Simon Gray:
Simon is also known, outside of our Exeter Office to be the “Creative Director” His photography and wood carving skills never cease to amaze us. However, he also has another string to his creative side - the art of being able to produce amazing calligraphy work!
During a recent weekend, he spent 3 hours at the library teaching a group of people (Adults and Children) the art of Calligraphy. Simon explains it is very reward...ing to be able to share this talent and help others in this way. So, what exciting plans do you have for the weekend?

Friday 17th January we were delighted to attend https://calvertexmoor.org.uk Calvert Trust Exmoor supporters Dinner at the beautiful Saunton Sands Hotel. The Guest speaker was Lizzi Tench. Who took us on her journey and how her life changing accident which placed her into a wheel chair for life, brought her to Calvert Trust as a Guest. During her time at Calvert, she was able to make further life changing decisions which meant she has gone on to be a fantastic Olympian representing Team GB. The Directors of Isca Barum are delighted to be able to support and sponsor Calvert Trust. We congratulate you for all that you do in caring for Guests who spend their time with you, here in the heart of the West Country.
