We had my daughters mini farm party here for her 5th birthday with 9 friends. Really pleased with the party, staff super helpful and lots for the girls to do, everyone has a really great time, amazing value for money. We will definitely be back soon for some more fun.
We had an excellent 'Mini Farm Party' here for my son. The party hosts were amazing and ran the whole party with confidence and enthusiasm. The children loved the soft play which was very clean and accessible. Then they had time on the farm, feeding and holding the animals and finally party food in the party hut. We spent the rest of the afternoon on the farm with our guests and will definitely be returning soon.
We had an amazing day visiting jakes yesterday � such a good set up with loads to do and all the staff were so lovely and really made our day. Father Christmas, the sleigh and the grotto were all brilliant and the animals. Highly recommend a visit X
We had a fantastic time in the indoor play centre as well as the outdoor interactive farm. Lovely walk around the lake afterwards.
We cannot believe that we havnt found this place sooner! It has everything you need for the kids! Fantastic!
Visited for the first time with our 15 month old son. He loved walking around and the new construction area was great fun for him.
The programme listed activities and it advertised rabbit handling, this was in fact stroking it in a basket, it would have been nicer to handle them as advertised.
The walks around the lakes were lovely.
We never went in the soft play as we would have preferred to choose when we could go in and play rather than him getting tired inside first due to hygiene reasons, this would have caused him to miss out on the animals.
The water park was a good area.
Never used the cafe so can't comment.
Few down points but over all I loved the visit and so did my son.
Took my mum to jakes today for an early "Mother's Day" cream tea while my little man ran around the soft play! Have to say was pleasantly surprised - our own lovely decorated reserved table, yummy sandwiches, huge lovely scones and just the right amount of sweet treats! Girls working there were very welcoming and kept our tea topped up the whole time! Such a great idea to have on offer and a great price too - I will be recommending for sure!!

Love it here! Me and my 1 year old came the other week and loved it so much we bought an annual pass. Staff are lovely and friendly and make the effort to interact with children.
Food is good value for money with great options for kids which was served quickly and really hot.
Great slide and huge play frame which my little girl loves to go on. And she loves the sensory room and little area where kids can play with an interactive floor.
The farm was lovely and it was nice to see a petting farm which seems to take notice of the animals welfare by only doing petting sessions at weekends and on school holidays. I know this might be annoying for some people but in my opinion it was lovely.
We will definitely be returning and would recommend this to anyone with kids!
Just had my daughters 10th birthday party tonight it was the laser party and it was absolutely amazing the kids had so much fun and the lady’s who run the party were brilliant with the children would definitely recommend them . Thank you again my daughter and her friends loved it
Hired it out for a girlguiding party. The kids loved it and the staff were amazing!!! Thoroughly recommend thank you so much!!!
Had the most amazing christmassy day at Jakes. To begin with, I love the under 4’s area as my very active 15 month old couldn’t escape from as it has a door on it. Also, the fact that there was a climbing area and slide suitable for my little climber. She absolutely loved it and I felt she was safe in there.
The staff couldn’t have done anymore for us.
We also, meet with Santa who took the time to talk to us and our baby’s and we also had such a lovely time waking around seeing all the animals. Would highly recommend visiting Jakes and I can’t wait to visit again in the spring.
The soft play is brilliant and I think the farm and soft play package is really well priced. The farm is great and everywhere is spotless. My only gripe is the cafe food. Awful. The burgers were inedible and my husband hated his prawn sandwich. A lot of food was left over. So we will go back but with a picnic. Oh and £10 to go on the boats is a rip off. But looking forward to visiting again.
A good place to go for the variety of activities to do and animals to see/feed. It would’ve been an even more pleasant walk around the outside were there not to be a strong aroma of marijuana coming from the tents of those out fishing.
I normally come with my son and friends and his kids, but today it was just two of us and it was just the outside farm, that we enjoyed.
The staff were as per normal very polite, especially when my son talked to them and asking them questions, I found that they did not talk down to children.👍 My only gripe is that the boating lake at £10 per boat for about 10 mins is steep, especially when and if there is only a parent and child,which is a bit much when working on a budget, for this reason only, This has stopped me giving 4/5 stars. Maybe a slight rethink on this
Went yesterday with my 6 and 4 year old - paid £30 to get in and my children were in the play area for 20 minutes......far too many people in there, no where to sit etc, it was awful!! I mentioned the short visit to 2 members of staff on the way out to the farm (who didn't looked bothered!) and got told they weren't at capacity �� such a joke! We normally love it here but won't be returning after such a disappointing visit!!!!!
The place is nice, but we are very disappointed from the staff. When we arrived there we bought tickets for outside and inside. We told to the girl that first we will go outside and she said ok. But when we wanted to go after that inside the other girl from the staff said that it’s not allowed. We first had to get inside. They even didn’t apologise and were rough. The mistake was their, but they didn’t give us back the money. Instead we received vouchers but we will not come back again.
I came to Jakes last week with my sister and nieces for lunch and a play! I was horrified to find out that their vegetarian options are fried in the same fryers as the meat options (I am Vegan).
I was told by staff that apparently when a vegetarian orders a vegetarian option they pre-warn staff? where they will then cook them in the oven which takes an hour.
I am confused because who orders a vegetarian option with the (v) next to it thinking oh I should double check that it is in fact vegetarian?
I find myself lucky to have even asked whether the vegetarian options where vegan suitable because if I was just vegetarian I would have ordered the vegetarian burger/nuggets and have been mislead into consuming animal products/meat.
Thank-you for not replying to my message for more information into this matter therefore leading to an bad review.
Refused to let a child with a dairy allergy eat his own lunch. She was told to take his dairy free lunch off of him when she asked what he could have that was dairy free she was told chips or a ham sandwich with no butter (dry and unappetizing) not the healthy lunch like the lunch my friend had made for her son. So my friend had to leave the soft play early so her son could eat his lunch.
