Couldnโt be more true!! Trying to get fit too quickly after periods of inactivity can be worse than not doing anything at all!
The key is progressive increases in activity levels...a great example of this is signing up for a 10km race or half marathon thinking that it will get you for and help you lose weight!
You need to have a good underlying level of fitness to allow you to do this safely!

A lot of people tend to have the band round their knees or ankles, in fact itโs the TOES thatโs gets best glute med activation (rather than TFL, which can cause hip pain).
Try and keep a constant width at the feet and knees to maintain glute med activation (these muscles need to work for a long time in some circumstances)!
