We are looking for a full time Sales Representative to maximise sales and profit and increase the number of spending and accounts within an assigned area by selling and promoting the company’s products and services. Personally contract and secure business from new and existing customers.

ABOUT YOU
Ideally you will be from an electrical wholesaling or similar background, with experience of working in all areas of a branch. Extensive sales and account management skills are essential.
The successful applicant will display a positive, can-do attitude and the enthusiasm to pitch in and help out wherever you’re needed. You will need to be flexible and confident with an outgoing approach. You will be comfortable working within a small team as well as on your own. Excellent communication skills are essential both verbal and written as well as numeracy skills.
You must hold a full UK driving licence.
WHAT WE WOULD ASK YOU TO DO
To be responsible for increasing the customer base with the support of the team Report your weekly and monthly progress to the Branch Manager Proactively seek opportunities to increase turnover and profit Arrange and carry out customer visits Dealing with reactive sales calls and making proactive sales calls Deal with customers both face to face and over the telephone Assist and advise customers on trade counter sales Deliver outstanding customer service at all times Answer incoming calls Up-selling Placing orders Monitor stock levels Check goods in and out of the branch following correct procedure when required Deal with all relevant paperwork, in a timely and accurate manner Keep working area tidy and free from obstructions Stocktake Ensure all paperwork and procedures are adhered to when making deliveries customer visits Working hours are 7.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday and Saturday's 8.00 am to 12.00 pm. (Saturday's worked on a rota basis).
