Lovely early Fathers Day lunch. Took the dogs and 90 year old Dad in wheelchair. Staff could not have been more helpful, putting the ramp out and helping us move the table around! Food was great, although some reviews talk about the length of time food takes to come out, I think it was perfect, we loved the relaxed pace and staff were brilliant!

I've eaten at Jolly Jacks on several occasions. I have never been disappointed. Very high standard of food and customer service, regardless of how busy it is. If you haven't been yet, you should.

I've been jolly jacks many many times and tried all types of food and EVERY time the food and the service has been amazing!! This afternoon was no different! Best food in Plymouth!! 5star

Enjoyed a spontaneous lunch with friends yesterday on their recommendation. Phoned ahead to makesure we had a table and nothing was too much bother. A lovely atmosphere and fabulous food! The staff were all so lovely...it’s great to see people enjoying what they do! The owner definitely makes it!

Best place to eat in Plymouth go all the time. Steak and chips fish freshly cooked sweets are to die for I think shall I have a pudding � can I yes I can. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Always clean and its a beautiful place in side and when the sun is shining its lovely to sit outside looking at the boats and the beautiful views

Had breakfast with the family yesterday..nice cosy place .friendly service. breakfast was good but could have been hotter, Bacon was a bit overdone .but overall ok . Would visit again ..pity you have to go outside to the .. toilet ..

We had a table for 11 and it was mostly lovely. I was very unsettled that 3 plates of bread were "upsold" to us at £12 without telling us they were a sell. " Would you like bread" with the plate in hand and no costing was thrust upon us. On questioning they shrugged and stated "it's an upsell". It's robbery is what it is. Be warned!

Very slow service for breakfast. Lots of waitresses about, but I suspect only one chef. Ordered poached eggs on toast. They were hard and unappetising. If you think that two hard boiled eggs, out of their shells, (masquerading as poached) and a slice of soggy toast is value at £5-50 then this is the place for you. Coffee was good though.

The Breakfast service was slow (although we later found out they were short on Chefs) and the traditional English breakfast at nearly £9 is a bit pricey for what you're actually getting. The chef also needs to realise that a "well done" fried eggs yolk shouldn't be runny. Nice restaurant tho to be fair, interior is welcoming and the views of the Royal William Yard are great. All in all they do need to review their pricing and sort their service out ASAP. One hour to receive our breakfast isn't satisfactory.

I ordered burger and chips. It came out looked nice on the plate. Started eating ( what I did eat had very little taste) and noticed the burger was pink in the middle, sent it back asking if it could be cooked more, it eventually came back out. The outside was now black but the inside was still pink so I couldn’t eat it. The chips, bacon and bread roll were tasty! But not really worth the £13.50.

Very very poor service( as of we were annoying them...even if we did book a table earlier, and it was not busy at all!). We were with our boat in the Marina and had nice souvenirs of this restaurant 2 years ago. Yesterday evening, The food was OK without being exceptional, but really, the service was below everything :-(

Terrible place... took over 50 minutes for lunch to come out, ordered a starter that didn't come, ordered a desert that didn't come. And a coffee to finish And that didn't come out ether. the staff was insanely rude except one young lad there! The owner was extremely rude and pretentious! Honestly don't mind spending a little extra but £8 for a glass of wine... the food was ok, but truthfully not amazing considering it's a bit more expensive that average. The toilets are outside... felt like a caravan site. To finish it all off the Parking was £1 to get out and because I was 5 minutes over 2 hours they didn't want to give me the £1 back on my meal which come to a lovely grand total of £108. And for this I was called cheap by the owner and made my girlfriend extremely embarrassed!! Great costumer service! �
