Over 130 scones, 40 whole cakes, 10 trays of brownies, blondies,cookies and mars krispies and too many sandwiches to count, we’ve had the busiest week 😅but when a visiting American mentions that our afternoon tea was better than the recent one he’d enjoyed at Kensington Palace we all did a happy dance thank you all for your continued support 🍰☕️

Kettle & Cake is looking for full time team member from September 2018. Working Tuesday to Friday and every other Saturday. Job share may be considered. ... Prior experience not essential but must be able to work on own initiative, quickly and efficiently as part of a small but very busy team. Will be required to help with prepping food, washing up, clearing tables, and general cleaning duties, as well as serving hot drinks and cakes and making artisan coffees (full training will be given). A smile will be required at all times.

Had the best day celebrating our nieces wedding yesterday. we went here today 4 adults and 5 kids, 3 years and under, everything we ate we loved, the staff was so helpful and accommodating and also the air conditioning was a nice treat in this heat. We will definitely be back. It wasn't cramped and we had plenty of room for pushchair, the baby change was really clean and had a nice mat on, so much nicer then hard plastic or struggle to get your own out of bag. Loved the vintage tea cups and saucers, i would recommend to anyone.

What a beautiful tea room! Food was great and one of the best lattes I've ever had. Had baby with us which can be tough but staff very helpful and relaxed. Cheese, ham and sweet chilly jam sandwich is a must. Too many lovely cakes to choose from!

Went today for afternoon tea with my Mum and also took my 3 year old daughter. I cannot fault anything about Kettle and Cake and can’t wait to go back!! Lovely local tea room with plenty of space and excellent service and the cakes are delicious!!

We had lunch here yesterday and loved it, yummy food, coffee was really nice and staff were welcoming. I recommend the milk and cookies cake �



We took our 2 year old and they were very accommodating and had high chairs and a menu for under 8’s which was great.



Will definitely be returning.

We had a great day yesterday visiting Waddingworth St Margaret’s church in “the dead centre of Lincolnshire” #LincsChurchesFestival A lovely tiny church recently restored.

Very lucky to have this lovely little tea room so local. Food has always been brilliant, especially the scones and atmosphere is lovely. Can’t recommend enough. �����

Took my mum yesterday for her birthday treat. First time we had visited and loved it. Staff friendly food lovely and scones, well they were scrummy. Highly recommend

Took my friend here today. Heard great comments since its opening . Have to say it lived up to our expectations. We had afternoon tea. It was lush ....very busy so that speaks volumes about the reputation of this tea room in itself. Have a various number of friends who want me to bring them here too. Think I will need to invest in a bigger pair of jeans ��

The afternoon tea was lovely... lovely fresh and tasty sandwiches, filling of my choice. A massive soft warm scone with generous cream and jam. A big piece of homemade cake. Tasty and filling, everything you expect. My only wish is for you to do gluten free sandwiches without having to bring the bread myself, maybe something to consider as GF bread can be frozen. But I'll be back, loved it.

Oh my god this place is Devine.... had a sandwich first which came with few “proper” crisps and a side salad, was delish (only thing I would say is, I would prefer bloomer bread)

I then went back and had a cuppa and a cake, ooh that was luurrvely! I’ll definitely be back with my mum my friend my daughter(on different occasions obvs) more cake!

The place is beautiful, airy and light and the toilet is spacious(but chilly) but it wakes you up after relaxing for so long :)

My friends arranged my baby shower to be here. The afternoon tea was absolutely delicious and the service was great, everyone was very friendly and they even arranged for my favourite cake to be in the shop that day which was really kind. I would highly recommend Kettle & Cake and am looking forward to my next visit. �

My 11 year old son said .” Mum even the sugar lump for our tea are perfect” Best lemon cake I have ever tasted ... the scones were warmed freshly baked �� Can’t wait to go back �

I visited this morning with my baby daughter and my mum. I had the mars bar brownie, which was so delicious and topped it off with a naughty chocolate milkshake. My mum had a cappuccino and the lime and coconut cake. We were so impressed by the food! Also the tea rooms were so clean and welcoming, my daughter was so happy and relaxed sat in the high chair. Helen was easy to deal with as well as quick and clear when responding to queries. I couldn't have asked for more. Everyone enjoyed themselves and would go back again.

After being reccomended by friends so pleased I did pop in with my mum we both enjoyed it very much lovely little tearoom plenty to choose from cakes and drinks � Mum loved her baileys cake and I enjoyed my coconut and lime cake and both enjoyed our hot chocolates cream and marshmallows will certantly be back again such a lovely atmosphere and lovely people- thankyou �

The simple act of holding back the delicious cakes whilst my little one ate his sandwich was appreciated this was done without having to ask despite ordering everything together.

Amazing coffee, best scones around and always a fantastic selection of delicious cakes. The staff are so lovely, helpful and welcoming. My favourite place to meet friends for a coffee and a natter!
