A little something ready to post on Tuesday.
Good afternoon everyone one hope all your days are going well. Today I am 3 days into making a dress & matching jacket. Using a Vintage Vogue 2636 pattern purchased from Reinvintaged & a black ribbed crepe fabric chosen for me by the lovely felicity of Esme's Vintage Closet. The fabric was for another outfit but was screaming suit at me. A new pattern has been drafted for my measurements & height - Vogue patterns are excellent for taller ladies not for us under 5 ft. The dr...ess will be in a dark burgundy fabric from my stash which I bought in 2010 with Ivory & black piping. So have used the dress fabric for piping & the bound button holes on the jacket front. The ivory & black polka dot lining was purchased 2 or 3 years ago & is going in today. The dress will also be fully lined in a modern anti static burgundy lining. I have made the short sleeve version of the dress for myself in green with purple swans & a purple crepe for the gorgeous Clare Todd

Having a sort out found my old invoice book cannot believe how long ago this was & I didn't take photos either.
So nice when a client arrives for a consultation with cappuccino in hand. :)
All dresses available in other fabrics, i do not mass produce as many items are made from original vintage & out of print fabrics.
