So here's the first attempt...will post another photo when they're not so ugly!!

First attempt at macarons tonight...certainly need some refinement but I think they taste yummy!

Cinnamon & Pecan buns and a monster triple layer red velvet cake....and not a scrap of fondant in sight (for a change)

So it has been a little bit quiet from me since Christmas as I have been taking a break from my Speciality Cakes by Sarah duties!
I've decided to limit my orders for novelty cakes and just take wedding orders for the time being so that I can get back to some baking basics and fall in love with baking again! I've spent many a late night stressing over designs and models that won't do what I want them to do and it was starting to kill the joy for me....which is why I started ou...t in the first place!
I will of course share my journey with you all (in the form of pictures!!) And my website is open for business as usual. Hoping to expand my range over the year so watch this space.....
