Gregory Porter, the biggest UK selling jazz artist of 2017, last night (17 April 2018) played to a packed out audience at the BIC #Bournemouth. His mix of jazz and soul says much about his own life as does his musical inspiration which he takes from his musical father figure Nat King Cole. Unique in his style, Gregory Porter is able to bridge the age generations with his seductive style and musical mix which comes through in the integrity of his singing. Stunningly brilliant - REVIEW of Miss Saigon now playing in #southampton - I last saw Miss Saigon around 20 years ago on Broadway so revisiting the show this time at the Mayflower Theatre Southampton I have to admit I did approach this production with a certain amount of trepidation wondering how much it may have changed over the years; needless to say in the end I was not disappointed. keep reading here http://www.lifebeginsmagazine.com/…/… /24/review-miss-saigon/

With a near two hour set of pure Rock ‚Äėn‚Äô Roll from the glam rock years of the 70‚Äôs it was an evening of hit after hit from the Marc Bolan songbook with songs from many of their greatest albums. Read here http://www.lifebeginsmagazine.com/‚Ķ/rev iew-t-rextasy-pure-‚Ķ/

Review: The Shires, Bournemouth
In such a short space of time The Shires (Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes) have come from nowhere to stand at the forefront of the new UK country scene and in doing so have become the first British Country UK band to have an album in the UK official top ten charts. The duo only formed in 2014 after signing to Decca records and already have had two top selling albums, appeared on Radio 2 and have performed in iconic venues such as Shepherd‚Äôs Bush Empire. Not bad for a couple of singer/songwriters who come from the great country music metropolises that is Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire ‚Äď who needs Nashville? keep reading here http://www.lifebeginsmagazine.com/2017/04 /24/theshires/
