The Pro’s Challenge yesterday brought our 125th Anniversary Festival Week to a close, and what a week!
The charity ‘skins’ match with @Chris3Wood & 2 of his @EuropeanTour colleagues will live long in the memory!
The various Club comps this week have also been a lot of fun!

The course is playing really well despite the long dry spell!

The greens are so receptive that you can really attack the pin, and they are so pure!

My 1st round at LAGC and it certainly surpassed expectations! The course was in excellent condition – the greens were superb, the changes in elevation kept me on my toes and provided significant course mgmt challenges. Fortunately played on a sunny day so were spoilt with great views of south Bristol and we played at a healthy pace – round in 3hrs. If you're looking to play in the Bristol area, the facilities are some of the best you'll find; an impressive driving range with plenty of grass tees, chipping area and undulated putting green. Looking forward to going back to better my 31 points (15 h/c).

I was there with Simon Parfitt too, I love Long Ashton Golf Club, it's a great course with fantastic hospitality, I always love going back to play and there are some fantastic holes, the Par 3 second is a great challenge at the start, my favourite hole is definately the Par 4 sixth, but there are alot of other great holes, it's a definate must play.!!!!!

I have been working and playing at Long Ashton for 3 years now and have watched the club make continual improvements to the course with new free draining greens 2 years ago and now drainage improvement on the 6th fairway. Already a great parkland course with different tests every day never gets boring. Rightly renowned for being a friendly welcoming club I see this in action daily. Clubhouse and staff service is outstanding all taking a big pride in what they do!

Great course the greens were excellent, club house good and made feel very welcome.

Will defiantly play again.

A team from my home golf club took part in an open competition this weekend. The course was in excellent condition and the greens were fantastic. The open competitions offer superb value and this one included a two course meal on completion of the round. We will be looking out for future opens at the club.
