Superb value for money, and extremely tasty lunch - the pizza is huge, you’ve been warned!! Our waitress was delightful and couldn’t have been more helpful so I’m sad to read some poor reviews. This was my first visit and I’ll definitely go back for a second visit.

Ate there yesterday before going to the theatre so it was early and not overly busy. Service was very good and the food excellent. My hubby had a pizza which was enormous and could easily have fed two. I had a vegetarian pasta meal from the specials menu which was delicious. Would definitely go there again

Had to wait 15 minutes for a table but were made comfortable at the bar. The food was ok, my sauce certainly looked like it had been reheated but tasted just fine, over all I liked the place and the wine was good too

We were asked to sit at the bar whilst they found us a table for two. The place was not busy. But we ordered a couple of drinks and after five minutes they took us to a table upstairs on the balcony. Nice breeze on a hot day. We ordered our food

Some Bruschetta,a lasagna and Paccheri Salsiccia .

30 minuets or so later it arrives,looks ok but my god it was so salty. Hence the 3stars.

On trying to pay the first card machine failed three times to connect. We had to pay down stairs in the end

Service was fine efficient but the food was nothing to shout about. I was warned that the dish the lasagne came in was hot but that was about it as the food was only warm and not much meat to find.

Service at start was ok but slowly dropped to none at all. Main meal was nice but had to ask for parmesan and i'm pretty sure they either mixed up two of the meals or didnt supply the gluten free pasta required.This resulted in my poor being very sick and bloated. Trust me, she knows when she's had wheat! We asked for the desert menu but finally some 20 mins later when the waitress finally came back we just asked for the bill. My carbonara was nice but everything else very disappointing!

Food was nice though staff needed to be reminded of our order several times and simple things like checking if we needed more water or drinks, or checking if we needed new cutlery for the next dish etc.., was substandard. We were a table of three and at times, seemed to be forgotten. Staff appeared a little disorganised and rushed.

Hour you couldn't make it up. Then an hour passes still no pizza that we ordered. One of my friends spoke to waitress we were told a few mins 15 mins passes still no pizza. There was a large hen party going on at next table suddenly there food arrives. But wait what happens to ours. It was a

It was 5:50 and we hadn’t even received our food and had just ordered our drinks ! It is disgusting to treat paying customers like us. When we asked if he would like us to move he said no, when we said we would need to finish our food by then, he said no! We had a baby and a 2 year old and it became a very uncomfortable situation in which we could not enjoy our meal. Such a rude man and a shame as our waitress was lovely and the other staff were very polite and friendly.

I’d heard good things so decided to try it. Waited 6 mins at the desk, several staff walked by without saying that someone would be with us. Just as we were about to go someone came and asked us to wait whilst a table was cleared. We then thought we’d have drinks. 7 mins later of being totally ignored by the barman whilst he did his hair in the mirror, had a slurp of drink and then nothing. I even waved at him he ignored me. Again we were about to go when we were shown the table. Took another 10 mins for orders to be taken, another 10 for the drinks to arrive (barman was also doing the same to others who were waiting and a couple walked out). 20 minutes for food but it was freshly made and very good. Then had to wait around to get more drinks. Then it took at least 15 mins to get the bill. We had given up on pudding by this time! I can’t remember a time when service has been so bad. The barman particularly was surly and looked like he hated people! the rest of the staff were pleasant but horribly slow. Music ridiculously loud too, we were literally having to shout st each other. Get your act together L’Osteria! Update: I’ve looked at the other reviews that say the same about the poor service. We won’t be giving them a second chance... there are other restaurants.

Apparently the Whole Wheat Pasta is Gluten Free as its cooked in a separate pan...

that's after waiting for an hour for food, only when we started to complain did the food start to be cooked... don't get me wrong the kitchen staff were flat out, but priority seem to given to the large party groups irrelevant of when they arrived...

Food was delicious but they forgot 2 out of 4 meals & by the time the last 2 meals did come out the first 2 had been eaten � to be fair we didn’t have to pay for the late meals & they did apologise but just not great service, especially as we had to chase them.

Wasn’t great service at all, drinks forgotten, rude staff member told my daughters to leave even though they said they were waiting for their parent (16yr olds!) and then told them even after meal they had to be gone by 7!!

Food was nice however feel they should have plates for the 50/50 pizza not normal plate with pizza hanging over edges. And toppings very uneven!!

Not overly impressed im afraid. The pizzas although huge were all a bit soggy in the middle and the calzone had a big pool of liquid inside.

Some of the staff were down right rude and need to learn some basic customer service skills. We asked about some missing drinks and got a surley response not unlike 'kevin the teenager'. His attitude was just as bad when he brought the drinks over.

When the pizza was brought over i had to tell the man it wasnt mine about 4 times and physically try to stop him from putting it in front of me as he just wasnt listening to me.

Service is so poor we waited 45 min before they bring the cake out and another 15 min for the bill came . We have to go to the counter 4 times to ask . Also wen they bring the cake the top layer was slipped away . So the cake looked dismantled. Didn’t had the time to complain then and there . One star for the food ... pizza had no flavour at all. Waste of time and money

Really poor service, the pizza was a mess and hanging off the side of the plate. Asked for a 50/50 split of toppings and the pizza looked like the ingredients were chucked on. Finally, the attitude of the staff was just crap. I don’t usually write bad reviews, but if you're looking for somewhere to go to for a romantic meal, go somewhere else.

Not even 1 star!! Terrible service! A man who we later found out was the owner of the U.K. restaurants told us we had to leave by 6:15 as they were fully booked ! It was 5:50 and we hadn’t even received our food and had just ordered our drinks ! It is disgusting to treat paying customers like us. When we asked if he would like us to move he said no, when we said we would need to finish our food by then, he said no! We had a baby and a 2 year old and it became a very uncomfortable situation in which we could not enjoy our meal. Such a rude man and a shame as our waitress was lovely and the other staff were very polite and friendly.

I’d heard good things so decided to try it. Waited 6 mins at the desk, several staff walked by without saying that someone would be with us. Just as we were about to go someone came and asked us to wait whilst a table was cleared. We then thought we’d have drinks. 7 mins later of being totally ignored by the barman whilst he did his hair in the mirror, had a slurp of drink and then nothing. I even waved at him he ignored me. Again we were about to go when we were shown the table. Took another 10 mins for orders to be taken, another 10 for the drinks to arrive (barman was also doing the same to others who were waiting and a couple walked out). 20 minutes for food but it was freshly made and very good. Then had to wait around to get more drinks. Then it took at least 15 mins to get the bill. We had given up on pudding by this time! I can’t remember a time when service has been so bad. The barman particularly was surly and looked like he hated people! the rest of the staff were pleasant but horribly slow. Music ridiculously loud too, we were literally having to shout st each other. Get your act together L’Osteria! Update: I’ve looked at the other reviews that say the same about the poor service. We won’t be giving them a second chance... there are other restaurants.

Superb value for money, and extremely tasty lunch - the pizza is huge, you’ve been warned!! Our waitress was delightful and couldn’t have been more helpful so I’m sad to read some poor reviews. This was my first visit and I’ll definitely go back for a second visit.

My hubby had a pizza which was enormous and could easily have fed two. I had a vegetarian pasta meal from the specials menu which was delicious. Would definitely go there again

30 minuets or so later it arrives,looks ok but my god it was so salty. Hence the 3stars.

On trying to pay the first card machine failed three times to connect. We had to pay down stairs in the end
