Lyme Bay is a friendly practice situated in the coastal town of Lyme Regis on Dorset’s famous and beautiful Jurassic Coast. We offer both NHS Medical and Dental services across two sites close to the town and aim to provide traditional patient centred care to young and old alike.
Our premises offer parking and full disabled access including being sited on main bus routes. Our Practice is an integrated community team for the area which provides locally based intermediate care..., community nursing, physiotherapy and occupational therapy. We also provide additional physical and mental health services in the form of consultant outpatient clinics and therapy and work closely with our colleagues in West Dorset to deliver as much care as close to home as is safely possible.
We work closely with our patient group and community and aspire to deliver holistic modern care at all times.

Exciting times ahead in Lyme Regis, today Lyme bay medical practice and Lyme Regis medical centre merged to become one practice over the two buildings.

There is now an improved access service for patients of Lyme Bay and surrounding surgeries. These are additional GP, nurse practitioner and nursing appointments in the evenings and weekends. These usually run from the local community hospitals, but you DO need an appointment first. This can be arranged if necessary via 111.

Lyme Bay Medical & Dental Practice are looking to recruit a full time enthusiastic, professional and flexible trainee/qualified Dental Nurse to join our friendly team.
We are a busy Independent NHS/Private Practice based in Lyme Regis. Experience preferred although full training can be provided. Nursing duties will include providing chair-side support for the dentist, thorough infection control and decontamination, developing x-rays, using comp...uter software and general reception duties when required. Salary is based on experience.
