That’s the first boat Antifouled and polished. Solent Star our of water, rudder removed for new bearings.oh I love this time of year!!
Stag do this weekend on 3 boats, 15 stags. To me it was quite cold, but obviously not for these guys
Sad day yesterday!!!
We have sold Parallel Blue, her new home is going to be on the USA. She left Lymington with grey overcast sky's and F5-6 winds. Plan was to berth her in Town Quay overnight then move her round to the ship for her to be lifted onboard ready to be taken to Fort Lauderdale.
Hope her new owners enjoy her, we have certainly loved having her our fleet. Had some great times racing her against Lady V and the other 40.7s in the Solent.
... This is our final picture of her leaving Lymington for the last time.

Winter work well underway, Mintaka and Solent Star Antifouled and bank in water. Galaxy out of water and have until Friday to get her antifouled before she goes back.
Amazing already had 2 charters this year on Solent Star unheard of for February, helps that she has warm air heating!!
Lady V is taking part in the Silicon Cup Regatta tomorrow and Friday. Spent day in Hamble preparing her. Managed to service 2 double Spinlock jammers so hopefully that will have sorted a problem recently with slipping Halyards (no doubt the skipper will let me know!!). All clean, race sails onboard, hull scrubbed by local diving company, hull has has logos put on.
Good luck guys!!
Saturday it was on to Mintaka for a Family day sailing. Lunch stop in Yarmouth. Not much wind but sun was great!!
Sunday sailing off Yarmouth on Mintaka
Friday was a Corporate day on Lady V. A regular charter for us, always on Lady V. With tides this year it was a lunch stop in Yarmouth with a very nice lunch in The George (thanks guys)
After the day it was dash down Solent (against the tide) to get Lady V back to he berth in Hamble
Wow its been a busy last 7 days, I have never done so much sailing!!
Last Tuesday afternoon it was over to Hamble to collect Lady V and take her down to Port Solent so that we could take part in the annual Polypipe Regatta.
Its was up early on Wednesday to prep Lady V, get food and drink, skippers briefing, collect guests and get out of Port Solent ASAP.
... 70 yachts doing 2 races with 3 different classes. All went ok, didnt win!! but everyone enjoyed the day.
After drop off it was a mad dash to get Lady V to Lymington before dark and with the tide.
A lovely sunset on way to Lymington

Galaxy, Bavaria 36 is not being used this weekend. Is anyone interested? Try making an offer!!
My tracker shows that Mintaka on way back from West Country and Solent Star on her way down. Looks like they past each other by Portland Bill. Don't think we have ever had so many West County Trips to Dartmouth in one year. Mintaka especially will get well known in that part of world
Handover all completed earlier for Mintaka. She will now be away for the next 7 days, off to Dartmouth. Looks like very light winds so probably lots of motoring!!!!
A 4 boat corporate day sailing recently - yachts all tied up in Yarmouth and off to Restaurant for lunch. In afternoon had some fun racing. Mintaka showed she can be a fast yacht!!
Weekend nearly here and after the horrible weather last weekend that meant all the charters got cancelled ( and i didnt get to see Bournemouth Air from the water) this weekend is looking much much better. Just hope rain holds off!!
I was amazed the other weekend to find that whilst I have been doing the yacht charter lark for some 12 years I have never taken my Mum out sailing. So put this to right now (although it was only for couple of hours). She seemed to thoughly enjoy it!!!
Just realised I didnt post these picutures of Lady V and Solent Star on this years Round The Island race. It was a windy race and thank goodness all back safe and well
Lady V out during Cowes Week
Had a great weekend sailing with a bunch of girls, first weekend of Cowes Week. Managed to get into Cowes Yacht Haven on the Saturday night. Seems they partied till early hours!!
