CS engine running hot - when was it last honed? Cast Iron Liners wear fast with the chrome piston rings polishing out the cross hatching - this cross hatching holds the oil to lubricate piston. At M4 we use nearly £2000 of equipment to precisely hone and measure your cylinders to within .002mm
