All those self employed company directors take note...!
The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme will provide 80% of employees gross wages, we believe this will include directors but cannot be absolutely sure yet as we are still awaiting further information. As far as I can tell, for directors, this will NOT include dividend payments. The online HMRC portal by which the money can be reclaimed will not be set up until mid to late April so in the interim businesses will have to foot the wages bill. It also only applies if you have completely stopped work, so you cannot answer phone calls, emails etc

Always nice to see old jobs. We fitted this balustrade about 3 years ago. The client bought a lovely new sofa recently, so to stop the dogs sitting on the sofa we provided a new glass stair gate. Does the job perfectly!

We seem to be more into balustrades these days but it was nice to be indoors this morning fitting this beautiful metallic silver glass splashback. Stunning contemporary finish, also neutral and matches all the appliances. The perfect finish to make a statement without going too bold!

Having been born there, I guess being involved in glass was always my destination. I still love these pictures and can’t help but be in awe of the beautiful structure that was the Crystal Palace. There were 153,000 square metres of glass produced for this, the largest panes being 10inches x 49 inches, all produced by glass blowing. Immense doesn’t even come close to describing this amazing Victorian glass structure.
