Lots of new faces tonight in a busy gym. Well done all.

Ladies night !! Great effort as per usual . Shame about the music...Molly !!!!

Tonight we were joined in the gym by professional photographer Rupert Barker. Rupert is featuring our club as part of a local project featuring various clubs in our area. Rupert took the superb photos from our recent show at the Activity Zone .

Juniors and seniors thriving . Great work everyone. This Thursday evening we have Rupert Barker the photographer in the gym for both sessions . He is in the gym for next Monday for the Ladies session as well.

New Year's resolutions forgotten about last Friday, packed gym on Monday. Well done ladies

Just a gentle reminder to parents that they should stay near the main door during sessions and not encroach into the gym / training area.
We have refurbished the gym to create space for more boxers and equipment.
We don't want to take the step of not allowing parents / spectators into the gym ,but may be forced to do so if things persist.

The re-opening went well... Bags more room in the gym ....
Joe Hughes gave a great skills input around the use of the jab for both junior and senior classes and still found time to have photos with all the boxers with his Euro Title belt...
And thank you to Build-It for the Hi Viz tops for the team for their road work to keep them safe...

Well.....with about an hour to spare...the gym is ready for opening.....
It's been an incredible two and a half weeks getting new ceiling,lighting, ventilation, heating, and restructuring the layout of the gym.
Tony Falcone and his building team , Marcus Morgan, Brian Deeprose, Darren Whiston ... electrical team Joe King, Terry Dysak and Alex Hyde...and plumber Luke Fisher got the main structural works done in good time.
... Dave Wenborn from Pintura Ltd along with Kevin and Scott Liddington got the paintwork done. My colleagues, Paul, Alex, Luc and Steve at Forensiclean...thank you.
Dominic Done and Scott Liddington...thank you for giving up your time for nothing over many days.
If I've missed anyone, I apologise....you know who you are.....but thank you all....now off to the re-opening….!!

Re-opening Tuesday 8th January...
Well.... The refurb is almost finished....
Despite some further minor work to be done, we will re-open on Tuesday ... Juniors 6pm... Adults 7pm....
... Malmesbury Boxer and European Super-Lightweight Champion Joe Hughes will be here for the evening with his championship belt and still smiling from winning the title over in Florence before Xmas.....
Quarterly Subs will also be due.... And these will now be £30 per quarter which still roughly works out at a remarkably cheap £1 per session...

Boxing on the TV in the gym .

The gym is looking good after its refurb. Dom and Joby ( the Chuckle Brothers ) are busy doing manual labour stuff, with Mike and Gareth providing much needed IT and refreshment support . If you are around , please pop in and lend a hand at your club.

Ladies - hope you have had a great festive season and are ready to get back in the gym? The refurb has gone incredibly well but the paint will still be drying on Monday. We will see you the following Monday for a post Christmas blowout - can’t wait!

The refurb of the gym continues and on Thursday 3rd Jan the redecoration will commence as the structural works should be complete.
Anyone who can help with painting the new look gym would be appreciated.
... The painting will kindly be supervised by David Wenborn and some of his colleagues from Pintura but any help is appreciated as we have a lot to do and tight deadlines to get the gym open again 🙂.
