Went tonight for the first time and totally loved it. Service was great and the desserts were amazing! So many to choose from and large sizes aswell. Will definitely recommend and Will be going back xx

Took my boy out for a treat tonight and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Killed the diet with the cookie dough but was so worth it! � .. Definetely will return to try more off the menu

The snickers milkshake is amazing & worth every calorie!!

We had the brownie ice cream & mint chocolate ice-cream which didn't disappoint either.

I’ve been to mama’s twice now & I absolutely love it! It’s about time Torquay had something like this. It has a great relaxing but fun atmosphere & the service is great, all staff are very friendly & helpful, being a family run local business really makes a difference. And as for the food.....well, it’s just delicious! I had the strawberry & white choc crepe the first time then the bueno waffle on my second visit. Next time I’ll be sampling a freak shake, they look amazing!

I went for my birthday yesterday. I’ve been wanting to go since it opened so it seemed like the person excuse. I had quite a large party of family members so we had to prebook orders and numbers which was fine. (Although tricky when there’s so much on he menu you want to try!) was greeted by I believe the owner was very friendly, all staff were friendly and polite. Got asked when we wanted our puddings, and they came out very quickly considering the amount we had. Little confusion when the wrong pudding kept getting called out but it was the right one just shouting out the wrong title but was resolved. The place is perfect for me as I am a sweet person so I loved mine which was a rainbow cake. However some people in my party felt portions were too big and puddings we’re too sickly so maybe sharing a pudding would resolve this. One eg was the bounty hunter was enjoyed by the person but the chocolate in it was so hard it couldn’t be cut or chewed so maybe to not store them in say a freezer. I get probably why with hot weather but it was inedible and who wants to work for their dessert. And the only other feedback from myself i feel there should be a party section or a big table I don’t feel the 4 booths together worked particularly well. I felt I had to constantly get up to talk to my other guests. And leather seats yes easy to clean but in this weather everyone wearing say shorts your skin gets ripped and burnt standing up. I would definitely come back maybe with a small group like a couple of friends. And the toilets are bizarre only one that we could find downstairs and it’s double doored. So you look outside door walk a couple of steps another door with a window. Very bizarre. But overall I will be back as there’s more of your menu I simple must try! Thanks a lot! �����

Had the best afternoon with my boyfriend at Mamas. We had waffles, sundae and some freakshakes. Service was quick. Staff were kind and attentive and food was excellent. This would be a great location for a birthday party or other celebration. Would definitely go again.

Good service, attentive staff, amazing tasting food, and massive portions! I will definitely eat here again. Also, the “mamas” wafers that come with all of the desserts are a nice homely touch.

Every time we’ve visited, the staff have been friendly and welcoming. The food is great (we recommend the Bueno waffles) and freshly prepared while you wait. Admittedly we’ve probably been too often already, but we will definitely be returning!

Arrived at 7pm on a Sunday and surprisingly, we were the only people in the place. I think the other reviews are a bit unfair. We had a bueno and Nutella crepe, a banoffee crepe with some seriously delicious cherry gelato and a strawberry and marshmallow milkshake Everything was absolutely mouthwatering! I’d suggest the portion sizes could be cut or a smaller option offered as I struggled to finish and my partner only managed half her crepe. Very friendly staff and a really nice atmosphere. We would both highly recommend and we will be visiting frequently to explore the huge menu �

Amazing food, great service. Been here twice, once with friends and once with my mum. Everyone thought the desserts were incredible. The ?manager was lovely both times, including on my second visit refusing to let me clean up the mess my baby had made with her lunch on the floor (tuna pasta!) and doing it himself instead � Was very quiet in there on both visits - really hope it picks up soon for them.

A group of us went out for a meal and opted to have dessert at mama’s instead. Was not disappointed at all. I had the caramel and chocolate sundae and it was amazing. So much to choose from means that I will be definitely going again. Mama’s you may have found a regular customer in me!!!!!

A friend and I went today after desperately wanting to try it since it opened, and we weren’t dissiapointed! Lovely staff, food was great, we felt the pricing was pretty reasonable, and plenty of choice! The milkshakes were served in cute little milk bottles and were delicious, we both had crepes which were great! And while ordering at the counter I was looking at the different ice cream flavours available and there are so many that look incredible! We tried blue candy-floss and I honestly cannot recommend it enough if you are a floss fan! It’s something really fun and different for Torquay, odd little things were not 100% but when it’s a new business this is understandable and we would absolutely go back again anyway! ��

went here for the first time with a few friends. there is a huge choice of desserts and staff were welcoming and friendly. I opted for the hot fudge sundae which was yummy. will definitely be returning �

Lovely place,friendly staff,enjoyed everything we had to eat,service was mega quick,nice to see people opening new businesses, shame to see people slating it so quickly,this isn’t kaspa’s or any other Waffle House around so it’s unfair to expect that when you visit this place, good luck guys we will come back �

First time I have been to mama’s and I think is a nice place. About time Torquay had something like this. The service was great and the staff helpful and friendly. I had the classic crepe and it was delicious. I will definetly be visiting again!!

Waffle and twix milkshake yummy but fudge sundae wasnot very nice the sauce had an unpleasant taste and ice cream average.



2 desserts and a milkshake came to £16! Not cheap. Also the waffle did not come with all the chocolate pieces that is shown in the photo.

First and last visit. I love ice cream and desserts and use various chain dessert places so was disappointed with both the choice and quantity of what I received. It was also very expensive for what I received. Surroundings could be better.
