Mark Jones Hypnotherapy Description

Have you been wondering “There must be more to life than this?“, or “Why does everybody do better than me?“. Maybe you have been recently divorced or single, made redundant or hit that time in life where you simply don’t know the answers. You could be considering a career change, thinking about a new business venture or just doing something different in you life but simply don’t know where to start. You may just keep putting things off or lack the confidence to take that first step.
If you have said yes to any or more of those thing then congratulations on taking the first step in gaining a better life for yourself and the people around you.

You may be asking how life coaching can help you?

Simply put, a life coach can help you see your way clear to overcoming those obstacles preventing you getting what you want. You will learn to look at life in a different way so that those barriers become easily navigable and then be able to create goals and action plans to achieve your aspirations.

"Getting the most out of life involves change"

Many of my clients have had eureka moments, those “Oh…my goodness…the answer is there right in front of me! ” revelations, simply by you looking at where you want to get to, in a different way. Other times, the solution evolves and turns into new exciting goals as you move forward.

If you think that this is something that you could benefit from then simply contact me for a “Try before you buy” session. Contact me on 0789 0031223.

I have been privileged to share hundreds of peoples amazing journeys over the years. It is with this inspiration that I have decided to explore a new journey myself and it's with a sad heart that I am putting on hold my private psychotherapy work for 2019-2020. I will be continuing to work with businesses and organisations. Thank you, Mark Jones http://markjonesconsultancy.com/i-am-taki ng-a-break/

Announcement After a long consideration with my work/ life balance I have decided to put on hold all Psychotherapy work for at least the next year and focus on my other projects. To all the amazing clients I have had the privilege to work with over the year, thank you. You have been inspiring and serotonin producing! Keep out for those polar bears and keep discovering your coffee shop moments. Thank you,... Mark

Within my practice I am seeing more and more Millennials who come wanting to address mental challenges, confidence issues etc. One of the consistent threads that I hear amongst many of them is the regular use of cannabis. The reasons are normally "I've always smoked weed", "It helps me and my mates relax", "It's not as bad as other things." etc. [ 667 more words ] http://markjonesconsultancy.com/smoking-c annabis-just-once…/

Sleep - the corner stone to having a happy life. One of the reasons I use hypnosis in the therapy room is that it creates a clinical setting for REM sleep to happen, it also shows you how good sleep should feel. The following article explains the different stages of sleep and why each stage is important. Great dreams! This rather encouraging news brings hope to the many tens of thousands of partners in abusive relationships. I regularly help people that have escaped from these controlling partnerships and a recurring theme is the dawning realisation of how controlled and manipulated they actually were. With the following areas now covered by law, it should help people to understand earlier in a relationship that they need to escape. The wonderful article explains how man-sheds or man-caves provides a space for chaps to chill and potter. An idea originating from Australia has taken this to another level by creating a community called Men's Sheds that creates workshops for men to talk, meet other chaps, learn skills and be part of something bigger. Men are not very good at discussing their health and meeting others, a major contributor to quality and length of life. Many of you that have enjoyed therapy with me know the importance of serotonin in our moods and happiness. You also know that we produce serotonin through positive thinking, positive action and positive interaction with others. Fairly sensible stuff! This scientific report further adds to our knowledge of how important serotonin plays in our lives and why we have a responsibility to ourselves to do the things that help produce this wonder chemical. "If you are depressed, you are living in the past. If you are anxious, you are living in the future. If you are at peace, you are living in the present." --Lao Tzu This article reminds us of the important lessons that are easy to forget. So let us remind ourselves today, and as a therapist I would draw your attention to number 5: Being Happy Takes Work! Psychopathy, part of the dark triad personality disorders, is a real focus of study for me. Having been in employment with, a business partner of and indeed in a relationship with psychopaths, I understand first hand how toxic and destructive they are. Indeed I work with many clients that are rebuilding their lives after marrying one. As I look back, pre-therapist career, I identified myself as a "fixer". When people refer to "evil people", there isn't a force that makes people evil, it's simply that there is a range of personality disorders that redeemer individuals without empathy. Without empathy (the ability to understand and connect with people along the basis of morals, values and beliefs) you can go through life self absorbed, unrepentant and conflicting with social norms. A good example of this is Donald Trump, a narcissistic sociopath. [ 781 more words ] http://markjonesconsultancy.com/statement s-frequently-made…/

We all love the odd glass of alcohol, it's socially connecting and tastes great. However, we can easily kid ourselves as to how much we can easily drink over a night or week. This little article reminds us that a little can be a good thing. Cheers. Those of you that have come to see me will well know the importance of REM sleep. The very purpose of hypnosis is to create a clinical setting for turbo-charged REM sleep. When we disrupt our REM sleep then problems occur such as increased anxiety, the ability to deal with day-to-day life, OCD, anger and poor learning (important for those of you studying your GCSE & A Levels at the moment). This rather fascinating article gives an insight of why the world is going through an angry phase: Donald Trump, Brexit, Immigrants etc etc. Statistics show that society typically goes through a cycle of forgetting how tough things were (who is still around that remembers the war or the 70's energy crisis?) and then venting anger at, to the casual observer, are hysterical. Ever wanted to know why you do the things you do and then regret them later? This article explains the cycle of addictive behaviours. For those of you that have come to me for weight loss, you'll know that it's not the eating that we focus on, we focus on breaking that cycle that is causing the behaviour in the first place. These 3 great tactics explain clearly the method for achieving the things you want to achieve: have a system, be clear what you want to achieve, and measure it. In my therapy room we use a the 'miracle question' technique which is a fantastically effective method (the system) to allow the brain to have clarity and focus (what you want to achieve) and then decide how you would know you've achieved it (the metrics). For those of you who know about the psychotherapy that I do, this video is a great explanation of how society can easily be manipulated and trigger our chimp mind (the primitive emotional bit). Russia makes no bones about how it exerts it’s influence in the world, however it’s easy to spot this and other propaganda in various religions, politics (including Brexit), Far Right groups (just rewatch Hitler’s speeches) and advertising. The antidote: question, vote, debate and lea...rn about the world. Connect, unify and remind ourselves of the great world we live in, the friends, colleagues and family we have, the knowledge, books and groups we can involve ourselves in. By doing these things we start taking back control and treating fear and propaganda with the contempt it deserves. We live in a wonderful world with wonderful people and opportunities, let’s not ever forget that. Enjoy.

Today marked my 2nd session with Mark and already I am seeing the results unfold. Now I can come out of the room stress free and feel a massive weight off my shoulders has been lifted. Would recommend anyone, even for a brief talk to speak with Mark and see his perception on life. It has helped me and I'm sure it would help you! Thank you again Mark!

Mark offers a truly amazing service. From the first session Mark helped me improve my life by installing a confidence in me. He gave me the tools to make changes, even if just small ones, and empowered me to achieve my goals in life. He helped me set achievable goals and never judged my choices. Mark has a warm positivity about him that makes him extremely easy to talk to. He always made me feel at easy and explained things in a clear simple manner, which allowed me to understand every step of the hypnotherapy. The relaxation during the session impacted on my day to day life and helped me sleep a whole lot better. I was better able to think clearly and reflect on my plans, before taking action, as i was better able to cope with stress each day. Mark can change your approach to life and help you achieve your goals, whatever they may be!
