We'd given ourselves a couple of weeks rest from reupholstery to move studios, but we missed it that much that when we were asked to transform this reclining sofa, we just couldn't resist!

1960's mid century chair for sale. CINTIQUE

Vintage (1960's) CINTIQUE chair for sale. Recently reupholstered by Mason & Brotherhood Creatives using a Linwood weave with a contrasting black velvet piping. All springs and wooden frames are completely original. Cushions are brand new fire safe foam. £220. Delivered locally FOC.

Very proud of the tool board I created until I tried to lift it and realised I'd screwed it to the cutting table! Never gonna live this one down LOL

Studio update! Almost ready for beautifying furniture on Monday!

We have a brand new shiny studio! This week we have down tooled and are busy moving to our wonderful studio, you are more than welcome to visit and we will even have a small selling space with some of our creations!

A 90yr old junior chair came into us last week, completely original but in desperate need of new fabric!

We’ve had a couple of very special iconic pieces in the workshop to bring back to a more original condition. The 2 seater sofa is a Cassina Maralunga designed in 1974 in Italy, this particular one had been recovered many years ago but had been over filled and incorrectly covered. Our clients bought them in the 70’s and remembered how they should be.... to say they were delighted was an understatement! The gorgeous danish boomerang chair was missing its springs and cushions but after intense research, Linwood’s recycled leather and new springs it it looking as good as new. We love our job!!!!

This weeks before and after! Lucy and Daryl at Merlin Farm Holiday Farm Cottages were an absolute pleasure to work with, we’ve been reupholstering 3 x leather sofas into faux leather to accommodate for their whole ethos for their business. 2 of the fabric sofas needed a whole new look to compliment the Coastal Chic look of one of the cottages. Lucy has a great eye for colour and design and this is the result of a really enjoyable collaboration.
