I love the bluebells this time of year. Even though I wasn't able to schedule any family photos in the bluebells for my clients with my due date looming. I managed to get a few of myself and my own family.
Although the images look idyllic it was hot and we had a grumpy 4-year-old! I managed to win him around long enough to capture the photos within about 30 mins with the help of my new gadget, Amazon's shutter release remote trigger, which I think I managed to conceal successfully in my hand!
Being 9 months pregnant I didn't particularly feel like getting photos of myself but now I am so glad I did! It's so wonderful to have these moments to look back on and I can not wait to meet our little girl.

😐I've noticed as the photographer I'm always the one taking the photos and I'm never in the frame!📷 . . 🤔I ask my husband to try & take some but they're either hideous, blurry or he's completely missed the moment & I end up getting cross with him 🤣 sound familiar? .. 🖼So I have been trying to make a conscious effort to get in the frame more.... .. 🕰My boy thought it was hilarious that I kept running back to him after I set the timer. .. 😂😂We were in histerics & just ended up in a tickle fight! .. At the weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the lovely Teeluck Family. We had so much fun it hardly felt like work. The family were naturals infront of the camera, the children played with bubbles which made for great natural photos and they made me feel like part of the family. Especially with Shellys amazing home cooked Mauritian food, I didnt want to leave!

Here a sneak peek from today with Mike & Shelly who wanted to share their special day by celebrating with their family. It was their first professional photoshoot and they were all so natural in front of the camera. The quote "All you need is love" was hanging up on the wall in their house and this is certainly a family full of love. They are such a happy, loving and welcoming family and it definitely shows through ...in their photographs. They met in the toddler room at nursery and instantly became good friends. After nearly two years they still run to each other in the mornings twice a week and are inseparable. They love to giggle, play dinosaurs and be superheroes. These two get funny and crazy when they're together and talk about each other when they're apart. Although they will both be starting their new adventures at different schools they shall always remain best buddies!
