Mayfield Caravan & Camping Park Description
Mayfield park is a family owned site close to the market town of Cirencester, Capital of the Cotswolds. We have 36 pitches for both camping and caravanning, giving us 72 pitches spread over a generous twelve acres.
The gently sloping park with its level hard standing pitches is in an area of outstanding natural beauty overlooking the Churn Valley. It is a quiet smaller park, favoured by couples and families who are not looking for on site bars, swimming pools and entertainment complexes. We have none of those but do have plenty of space!
We are ideally located for exploring the ancient Roman town of Cirencester and are surrounded by the Cotswolds area of outstanding natural beauty. You can also explore the Forest of Dean or use us as the perfect stepping stone to Wales and the South-West.
We are on the Cheltenham - Cirencester - Swindon No 51 Bus route which runs approximately hourly Monday to Saturday. The timetable for this has just been amended (June 2014) to add evening buses onto and out of Cirencester and a limited service on Sundays and Bank Holidays. The bus stops are about 100m from our entrance.

We accept DofE groups here at Mayfield, we have a large Rally Field available that can cater up to 60 tents, we are open all year round and have a mixture of electric and non electric pitches available, there is a fully heated toilet and shower block on site free to use for all customers.

Don’t forget we accept rally’s of all sizes, with or without electric, hard standing or grass. Any type of units accepted, communal BBQ’s and gazebos welcome. We have lots of space on our rally field that we can allocate to an individual party.

A lovely day out in the stunning village of Bourton-on-the-Water, home of The Model Village, Birdland & The Motor Museum. This place is very popular with our campers and I can certainly see why, well worth a visit.
Bourton-on-the-Water is just a 20 minute drive from Mayfield.
Took a trip to Tetbury yesterday and came across this fantastic antiques mall, 5 floors of antique treasures. Well worth the visit!

The pitch terracing work on the electric grass pitches is nearly done. We have a new road around the camping field and the team have been busy levelling some of our grass only pitches. Just the finishing touches and we'll be able to use them soon.
