Wonderful place! Fascinating music machines. Excellently presented by Sally our very knowledgeable tour guide.

We spent an afternoon being fascinated at this museum- such a gem to visit! The history of British clockmaking turned music box making, and their transition from music boxes to juke boxes to gramophones and voice recordings! We’d recommend for all ages- Geoff was knowledgable and passionate and a great guide. Thanks also to the on-site technicians repairing the work of 100s of years of artisan crafters

User

Very interesting visit, started with nice coffee and toasted teacake in the bar/cafe then went through to the small but packed museum. Geoff gave us a 90 minute talk and demonstration of some of the pieces on display. Some marvellous driving mechanisms and beautifully crafted cabinet works. The most go place for music lovers and those interested in the production of "mechanical" music.

User

This place is a little gem - it’s always a pleasure to listen to an enthusiast talking on any subject and you are treated to that here

User

The Mechanical Music Museum & Cafe Bar was the perfect venue for the Gloucester Gourmets Hash to run from in January 2017. The owners and staff provided a lovely buffet and made us all very welcome. We would certainly like to run from there again! Thanks again, Avril Haseler
