It was our last walk with big Freddie today. He’s an original MUT member and we will miss him greatly.... except for when he rolls in fox poo 🤣

I am sharing this simply so that others can hopefully avoid what I have had to experience. At the weekend whilst walking my own dog on a lead at Westwood nature reserve, he was set upon and injured by another dog resulting in him having to receive veterinary treatment. Despite my dog clearly being the victim in this situation, I was shocked to receive nothing but verbal abuse from the other dog owner. Being a strong believer of treating people how you expect to be treated... in life, i am proud to say that I somehow remained calm and polite throughout this traumatising incident and did finally obtain the other parties details. However, on later attempting to resolve the matter of my vets bills, I was sadly once again met with a torrent of verbal abuse, accused of obtaining unnecessary vet treatment for my dog and of being a con artist who goes out on a daily basis with an injured dog, in order to obtain money from people! The parties in question were two females with a Great Dane dog. I am not going to disclose any personal details of these parties on social media, but the description alone should hopefully be enough to warn other dog owners. I would strongly advise NOT engaging with them, as you will get nowhere and I feel that a situation could very easily escalate. I am posting this with nothing but good intentions and certainly do not wish to start a witch hunt, therefore, I will not be adding any further comments to this post. Should you have the misfortune to experience any problems with these persons, then I can offer further details via PM, to allow you to report appropriately to the local council. Let’s all please remember to respect each other. 🙏

Congratulations to Graeme & Abby who tied the knot last weekend, whilst we had the pleasure of looking after Poppy (the little Popster 💕)

Mel has provided us with an outstanding dog walking service. She responds to all our requests very quickly. On several occasions I have requested a last minute dog walking service for Lyca and she has always come through for us.

Mel is very honest, reliable and takes great care of our dog. We particularly enjoy the text updates we receive of Lyca's time out on her walks.

There are very few people I'd trust to look after my cats (and have keys to my house) - Mel is great.

Mel walks our Freddy a few times a week. I always know he's in safe hands and I do love the pictures Mel takes of him on his walks! I know he's walked well as when we get home he is always sound asleep! Thank you so much from us and Freddy! Xx

Mel offers an excellent service and caters for every need of our dog Pepper. Long or short walks, pepper comes back happy and calm. It's an added bonus that Pepper gets on particularly well with Mels dog so enjoys her walks and playing even more.

Mel is fantastic. There are not many people who I would trust with my dog. Bailey is always shattered and content when he has been out with Mel. A true animal lover which shows in her manner and way with Bailey. Would recommend 100% - excellent!

Mel is a rare find.. Someone who genuinely loves what she does and cares for your dog as if he's her own, it hardly feels like she's running a business! Gorgeous, varied walks, small groups of dogs and often a photo of them somewhere lovely is a real treat. Alfie responds to her with huge trust and affection. We would recommend her without question and feel lucky to have found her to look after our boy when we can't.
