Fully booked this week.
Bank holiday i am unavailable.
Limited bookings next week.
... Hours available to book are any of the following TUES:
10.30 11.30 12.00
Limited bookings left for other days.
Not all appointments on the online diary here are available but i will offer the next available that i can.
I am trying to make sure the diary is booked through from my personal diary too but this doesn't always happen, and i would not get any clients done if i spent my entire time correcting availability on social media. So bear with me if i have to decline your appointment request, and try to have a back up day or time incase i have to reject the first one that you ask for. It is always best to pre book when you have your appointment to avoid disappointment.
Kind regards Saph 😊

You haven’t had one for months (or even years): Massage works best when it is received on a regular basis. Most massage therapists would recommend receiving a massage 1x/month for regular maintenance and even more often if you have an injury you are trying to rehabilitate. Especially if you are in training. Summer arriving means activity, more activity than prehaps in winter. Massage therapy can help those aches pains and strains!!
👉When you challenge your body physically, yo...u should be treating your muscles to massage therapy.
👉You have a pain in the neck, your back, shoulders, hips, anywhere muscular or ligaments and tendons could be causing pain...
👉Pain is your body’s way of communicating to you that something is wrong. The busier we get, the more we tend to ignore our body’s signals.
👉You don’t want to ignore your pain or your injury could get worse.
👉You’ve been getting headaches When the muscles around your shoulders, back and head get tight, tension headaches can begin. Regular maintenance massage can relieve these tension headaches and help promote healthy posture.
👉 Massage therapy has been shown to provide some relief for migraine sufferers as well
👉You don’t have full range of motion. 👉 Maybe you can’t turn your head/neck as far as you once could. 👉Maybe you can’t lift your arm all the way up. 👉 Maybe you haven’t been able to touch your toes for a while.
Whatever your case may be, if you have muscular restrictions, massage therapy may be able to help.

Massage is not just a relaxing way to pamper yourself. Sports massage is a great way to help alleviate and reduce injury and even help chronic illness. Research shows that massage is beneficial in helping control arthritis pain. Fibromyalgia. Sprains, tears, post op care planning, and alongside physiotherapy, pre and post sports, and for other ailments or chronic injuries. Research has found that a group of people receiving massage therapy showed improved pain tolerances, r...educed stiffness, and a better physical function with a greater range of motion and an improvement to their mental health, to those who don't include massage therapy into their care routine.

💥Golfers and Tennis Elbow💥
Golfer's elbow is a condition that causes pain where the tendons of your forearm muscles attach to the bony bump on the INSIDE of your elbow. The pain might spread into your forearm and wrist.
... (This can often lead to misdiagnosis if it is not diagnosed properly, of carpel tunnel syndrome which is very different)
The ligaments and tendons affected and the joint become very inflammed and painful limiting range of movement and daily life for some.
Self help:

🗯 try and avoid agrovating the area with over exertion and/or weights.
🗯 seek professional massage and advise.!!!!!
🗯stretches as detailed below. Gently start to weight bear once inflammation has started to settle. FOLLOW ALL PROFESSIONAL ADVISE GIVEN FOR YOUR RECOVERY!
Golfer's elbow IS SIMILAR to tennis elbow, however the inflammation and tenderness occurs with Tennis elbow on the outside of the elbow.

💥 Plantar Fasciitis 💥
Plantar Fasciitis is a common issue in many people, often caused by tight calves and achilles tendon from wearing high heels, running or even walking!
The condition comes about when the thick band of connective tissue that runs across the bottom of your foot becomes inflamed.... This can be a real nuisance as it hurts to walk on, then we often compensate with the other foot, leading to other problems such as posture problems. Backaches, tigthened tendons and ligaments from under and over compensations through the body, and more muscular or skeletal problems adhering to a problem that can be addressed.
What you can do:
👍 Wear supportive shoes, also seek advise about special insoles to help the arches and your own personal tread. This is important as so often overlooked. A pair of insoles from a shop maynot be giving you the correct support, just temporary relief.
👍 If you're a keen runner, or walk long distances, don't wear worn out athletic shoes, and make sure they are designed for the sport or activity you enjoy with support where needed. Try not to wear heels too much.
👍 Rest Ice Compression Elevation
👍 MASSAGE... The effected areas, feet, achilles tendon, calves, quads, knees. (All connected and can be effected through lack of self help and professional intervention)
👍 Self massage with a massage ball, or tennis ball. (Holding the ball on the point of tenderness and pain for up to 30 seconds with pressure to help release built up pressure). Do this as often as you can.. regular self help will help too prevent build up of trigger points and tenderness.
👍👍 Get a massage from a qualified professional to help alleviate the pressure and pain through other tendons ligaments and muscles that become affected.
👍 remember to massage both sides to help keep the balance.
