*UPDATE* on the theft we had a couple of months ago... The burglar was tracked down, charged and sent to prison for a month. This illustrates at least three things... 1 - that we take theft from our shop very seriously... 2 - that the Police will competently prosecute criminals and... 3 - CCTV works!

First I said we'd stop at 10 gins, then I said definitely we'll stop at 20... but these gins from Rock are so good that they now become gins 28 and 29....😊
*repeats to himself..'must stop now, must stop now...'

Landed just in time for the weekend... the award winning Suicyder and Moustache Mango by The Bearded Brewery Ridiculously massive flavours ready to enjoy in house or take home...

User

Quick reminder that it's Drink 'a' Doodle tonight...

User

Fantastic green hopped beer from Lostwithiel. Only available once a year and only in tiny batches so come and enjoy before it goes...

User

So, after sampling many...., perhaps too many, we declare that the best beer at Falmouth this year is Black Flag's IPA... oh my... you need to taste this...

User

Glad you enjoyed it Paul. You join a cast of many others who have seen beyond the walls of the international billion dollar corporations to support their local family businesses/economy and enjoy better service and cheaper prices in the process. Plenty of room for anyone else willing to try us or any of the other independents in Town of course...

User

This is looking really exciting... and we've got our famous coffee and cakes on special at just £3.50... any coffee and any cake. Look out for the vouchers in the event programme...

User

Drinka'Doodle tonight from 7... ...looking forward to the 'ten minute challenge'

User

We completely sold out of cakes again yesterday... can't think why... Perhaps it's because they are so lovely or perhaps it's because they are good value too, starting at just £2.50...

User

New on tap... Lovely warm dark ale. Plenty of new stock in our shop too...

User

These are getting more popular and so much fun to watch everyone's creations develop over the evening...

User

Don't forget.... it's the drink a doodle tonight for anyone interested in drawing, sketching or drinking... https://m.facebook.com/events/18907026979 06201?acontext=%7B%22ref%22%3A%2298%22%2 C%22action_history%22%3A%22null%22%7D&am p;aref=98

Back by popular demand... Granite IPA. Massive IPA flavour and only 4.3% abv. Other than our house beers, this is the first beer to be on tap twice since opening... Hope it lasts until the drinkadoodle on Thursday...

User

Nice new beer on tap today. Very interesting orange wheat beer by Dynamite Valley. Not your full on Wheat or full on orange but a very nice beer all round...

User

Don't forget, we've got the Drink a Doodle happening tonight... bring your pens from 7...

We’ve been to the St Austell Taphouse a couple of times now and we’re loving it. Such a fabulous window seat (can we reserve it forever please?!) and super friendly owners! We’ll be making it a regular spot to stop for cake and tea (prosecco)!

User

Went in on Wednesday for a coffee, lovely staff, beautifully decorated and great coffee with a biscuit! You don't get that in Costa!

Will be back, hope the business is a great success, st Austell needs places like yours, thanks you.

User

We love going to this fab little bar, popped in last night for a couple of drinks, lovely to see it so busy. The owners are really welcoming and it has a lovely atmosphere. Fabulous selection of beers to try.

User

Very enjoyable evening with hubby sampling several ales and ciders. The Par Pilsner is according to my hubby a definite hit! Excellent host, perfect ambience - well worth a visit, we’ll definitely be going back and next time I’m not driving, so many gins to try

Just been in tonight. Didn't catch the owners name but very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed tasting 3 thirds. Couple of IPA's and a pilsner. All very nice. Will definatley go there again. Prefer small local places serving different stuff to all the main stream drinks.
