Mulberry Pre-school originated in the middle 1980’s when a group of parents new to the area got together to provide opportunities for their under-5’s to meet other children and to learn through play. Ever since, the group has been designated a community pre-school, existing to serve the community of Valley Park and Knightwood.

Our experienced and friendly staff go above and beyond to provide the best possible level of care for the children. We are extremely proud of our standards which have once again been recognised by Ofsted in our recent inspection (April 2016) as Outstanding rating on all levels. We follow our Pre-School mission statement – Providing young minds with learning opportunities in a fun and stimulating way, within a safe and caring environment.

All pre-schools are subject to the Children Act (2004) and are registered with the local Ofsted Department. Mulberry Pre-school complies fully with and concurs with the regulations of this Act. These cover such matter as staffing, premises, number of children permitted to attend each session and their welfare. April 2016 was our latest Ofsted inspection. We were very pleased to still be regarded as “OUTSTANDING” by Ofsted.
