Another nice one from The Ross Kimber collection, this is Foden D Type "Mighty Atom" owned at the time by D Ranger , we think this is either 1986 or 1987?

User

Great photo sent in by Ross Kimber of his family's well known Scammell

We love going to Netley Marsh, we were at the very first show with our children, and will go again this year. Thank you team.

User

Very well organized and popular Rally. All tastes catered for even on wet days. Good food, entertainment and of course, all things mechanical.

User

This is the second year at this event, it's a fantastic show, great atmosphere, lots to see, great food and drink and entertainment. Great for the whole family, dog friendly too .

Also this is one of the only shows that we have been to and are able to actually drive a steam engine. Fun for all your senses. For our third year , we decided to camp for the weekend. A lovely spot and it was all kept very clean, tidy and orderly. Everyone was friendly, what more can I say

User

This is my second year of volunteering at the show and due to the poor weather conditions things didn't go according to plan. But there was still plenty going on around the site and I think under the circumstances the Netley Marsh team did the best they could. Well done to all those who give up there time be there and well done to anyone that braved the rain to visit ..... May the sun shine for next year !!!!!

User

The Netley show was a fantastic weekend from start to finish. This was my 1st show & I was fortunate enough to be part of the staff & sleep behind a beautiful Wallis & Steevens 1919 engine...Alice! All at the show were the nicest group of people I have ever met!

Also, a special thanks to Duncan Mortimer for making my weekend amazing...you did a great job & im very proud of you!!! #alicelove x

User

Something for everyone at Netley Marsh, there are vintage cars which take you back to your childhood, fascinating steam engines to amaze you, woodland crafts to inspire you and craft tents to uplift you. A great day out for the whole family

User

Pissed it down non stop but dry in the beer tent, memories made. Not missed a single year since moving here from Wales 14 years ago and looking forwards to next years. I play the drowned rat look very well

User

My first time to this show and enjoyed it very much. A Good layout with a good mix of Engine's. I found the engine owners and helpers most friendly.

User

Great day out, the steam traction engines being the main attraction for me.

User

Enjoying this for many years ..always a great day out followed by a late walk home with a pint and fish and chips.

User

Amazing show, lovely weather for it and a good turn out

Was so impressed with the mini truckers and the petting farm. Hope they are back next year

User

A really great day out for all ages. The working displays and arena events were fantastic. Loved all the different steam vehicles, so nostalgic. One tiny suggestion: a sandwich/baguette stall for those not wanting anything hot to eat.

User

A great weekend !!!

User

We went for the first time disappointed that there were such big gaps. U know the weather didn't help. Could do with clearer directions on site as to where things were but all in all an enjoyable day despite the rain

User

Not as good as previous years.

Toilets have gone down hill big style and marshall's with no clue as to whats going on, a lot less to look at but the rain caused some of that.

Big A+ to all the owners and stall holders that braved the rain.

User

It was our first time in going it was good but everything was so spread out and no one really interacted with anyone my kids were looking at army trucks and fire engines but no one was interested that just were sat talking to each other I'm hoping to try again next year see if it's any better

User

I used to attend every year with an exhibit. The whole weekend was fantastic. But haven't been since 2004. I was a little disappointed with the way the show ground was laid out. Hardly any stalls. The vehicles were spread out and it felt like no-one really wanted to be there. None if the exhibitors wanted to talk etc.

User

Used to love this show, although the weather did not help there were hardly any stalls, the show is badly laid out, where we're the parachutes? (They wouldn't have been there I no as the weather was bad) . Come on get it back to how it was!

User

Not really my bag. I thought the entrance fee and food and drink was overpriced. There was also a loud constant din of annoying amusement arcade type music that followed us around the venue. The exhibitions and entertainment I saw seemed quite dull and boring and I couldn't quite understand why the site was supporting a car boot sale. Having said that, I know there will be people who would love it.
