New Forest Cottage Holidays

The apple tree at Oakapple Cottage has blossomed beautifully so hoping for a good crop. The photo below taken at Foxglove Cottage shows the display of bluebells, pink bells and the peonies. Love springtime!

An archaeological dig took place in Burley during April 11-14. A metre square pit was dug at both Oakapple and Foxglove Cottages. Finds were washed, labelled, bagged and recorded.Experts were on hand and gave talks on bones, pottery and flint. It was a great community effort to discover more about our lovely village

The snowdrops are bursting out all over at Oakapple Cottage! Daffodils are on their way too.

This lady is fabulous. Catch a concert if you can for some beautiful singing or book her for a special event.

The warm weather has brought on the bluebells and the gardens are blossoming! It's a lovely time of the year. Come and enjoy the beautiful New Forest.

The Lost Kingdom at Paultons Park. Fantastic new addition to this great family adventure park with two additional exciting rides. This park ticks all the right boxes. Peppa Pig World, beautifully kept gardens, play areas and friendly staff. A great day out or maybe you'll need two to appreciate all that it offers!

The New Forest is perfect for cycling for all the family. There's a 40mph blanket speed maximum across the forest and we have a great cycle hire shop here in Burley if you don't wish to bring your own bike to the cottages. A great family and friends activity to maintain fitness.

Some fabulous walks in our beautiful New Forest. Get out and about and stay in my lovely village within the National Park. So much to do and a fabulous seafront just a 15 minute drive away!
