Joy oh joy! Baron Bigod is back on top form again... squidgy and pungent and from Bungay in Suffolk, the only unpasteurised brie made in this country 😃🐄

Now is the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness and vieux berger Roquefort... horribly expensive but worth every penny 🧀👨🏻‍🎨🇫🇷🐑

Congratulations to Emma and Paul, a beautiful wedding in Porthleven. (Somewhat belated congratulations due to a technical hitch😃) the base on this stack is a fabulous welsh cheese, Hafod. The Welsh make some cracking cheese .. as do the Cornish, of course! X

Winging its way here from Italy, wrapped in nothing but a sheet of waxed paper, Taleggio...melty, squidgy, lovely.

The much requested Beaufort is here!!!! Hooray! Raw milk cheese from the Savoie region of the French alps...the taste is reminiscent of the alpine pastures...excellent for fondue if you are feeling extravagant🐄

This weeks guests.... (and I'm hoping to have Beaufort for next Thursday... ) the stinking bishop is living up to its name and the vieux berger is just superb!!🧀🐑
