The whole team are fantastic and I actually look forward to my visits...they are so friendly and take such good care of you. You may leave with a pint less of the red stuff but gain a whole lot more in satisfaction.

The staff are so friendly from the moment you get there to the time you go home nothing is to much for them . I donate platelets now was my 3rd session today at Southampton on my first donation everything was explained what was going to happen which I found very helpful love the endless supply of tea & biscuits along the way lol . Would certainly recommend Southampton for giving blood or platelets to any of my fiends or family .

The staff are amazing. Very welcoming. If you are able I'd recommend anyone to try it. Giving platelets is really important and it is all pretty relaxing. Made better by the caring staff and the regular supply of tea.

Staff are always fantastic - helpful and friendly. It doesn't hurt; it isn't uncomfortable.

Free nibbles and drinks as you laze around.

Better still, everyone thinks you're some kind of hero for doing something this simple and this useful. Recommended.

Lovely, friendly staff who were more than happy to help and also were very good when they knew I was getting a bit panicky, since it being my first time giving platelets and the machine kept beeping they kept me at ease and explained everything, can't wait to go back😊

I'm relatively new to donation having just given my 4th lot of blood. I actually mentioned to the lovely ladies yesterday how much I enjoy going there as they are all so cheerful and friendly - great job girls!

I love giving blood and the girls at Southampton Blood Donation Centre are the loveliest people you will ever meet! From checking in, to screening, to donating, to the refreshment area, they really do look after you and I can't recommend this venue enough. Amazing staff!

I have donated blood for many years and recently started Platelet Donation, incredibly worthwhile, can be done more frequently and only takes a little longer than blood donation.

I have been a blood donor for a number of years and a platelet donor for around the past 5 years. The Southampton Donor Suite is a great place to donate, the staff are friendly and the support given to the donors is second to none.

I donated blood for the first time today. The whole experience was very pleasant. The staff were great, so friendly and helpful and I have left feeling really happy and proud and confident to donate again in the future. My husband and my baby daughter also attended for moral support and were made to feel very welcome too.

I am have been a blood donor for 50 years I just gave my 108th donation on Friday at this suite. I have been using it for many years and know many of the staff they are always happy and welcoming and remember my name . I hope to continue to be a donor for a few more years as I know how they value all donations and as I am O neg myself this can be used on anybody .

Having previously donated at work in the mobile blood unit, I didn't think it would be so easy to visit the centre but with evening appointments and parking it is just brilliant and the staff are always so lovely, I will definitely continue to donate at the centre �

Friendly people in a warm environment, helpful and encouraging. If you can you should pop in and see them. Don't worry about the rarity of your blood, the more common the more is needed.

Excellent thing to do, less than an hour of your time three times a year. I have given nearly 60 pints of this life saving liquid, and they even give you a cup of tea and chocolate biscuits for free, go on give it a go, it does not hurt, but it could save some ones life.

Came here yesterday to give my 1st Platelet donation after having given blood over the past 20 yrs! Very comfortable surrounding, lovely people who put you at ease, unlimited drinks & snacks, already booked again for a couple of weeks time! �� #savealife

A relaxed environment with no pressure to be in and out of the chair! I wouldn't want to donate anywhere else now I've been here! The staff where welcoming and friendly throughout my experience!

A fantastic place!! I've been donating platelets for about 18months now and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The endless supply of tea and snacks is good too!
