Yesterday I had the pleasure of delivering a presentation on 'Gaining the Confidence to become a #Girlboss' at Solent University for their annual festive lunch and it was a fantastic experience. We had a 3-course Christmas dinner which was so delicious, love this time of year! Although I've done a few presentations before, this was a very different audience and so happy it was received so well especially as I followed the Vice-Chancellor's talk. 😬 I was so nervous but delight...ed to receive lots of lovely comments on how they found my story inspiring which was a lovely surprise. #CoffeeTableTuesday For today’s feature I thought I’d share a behind-the-scenes snap of me putting together Emily & Ben’s beautiful Coffee Table Book last month along with their USB Giftbox and an additional lovely 10x8” mounted print as a little thank you for being an awesome client. Shooting their wedding at Millbridge Court this year was amazing. So getting to package up their stunning wedding photos in my purple bows, tissue paper, and even a purple ’N’ wax seal for the f...inal touches is so much fun to do. I often forget to take snaps like this as I’m so eager to get it all wrapped up perfectly but just loved the beautiful grey & rose gold tones the couple had chosen for their Coffee Table Book (it’s so chic!), I had to share! This is one of my favourite parts of being a wedding photographer and getting to package & hand deliver personally designed albums and prints all made with love. Getting to meet the couple after their wedding & honeymoon and have a lovely catch up over a cuppa in their cosy home is such a treat for me and feel blessed to call this my job. . Receiving a thank you card in the post this morning from Emily & Ben was such a lovely surprise and I’m over the moon! I love hand-written notes in the post and receiving one from this fabulous couple on a rainy Tuesday certainly brightened up my day. Happy #NationalCakeDay! I've seen some pretty awesome wedding cakes this year (& lucky to have tasted a few too!) so would like to celebrate all the wonderful wedding cake makers & bakers who create spectacular cakes like this for the bride, groom & guests to enjoy on their most special day. . Fun fact: According to Wikipedia, traditionally, wedding cakes were made to bring good luck to all guests and the couple. WOW! What an amazing night it was at The Wedding Industry Awards South Central regional finals at Farnham Castle Weddings and what a blast it's been. Although I didn't win the photographer category, as my first time entering the awards and to be listed alongside some incredible talent especially in the biggest category and competitive region is an awesome feeling and I'm so grateful to have such wonderful support from you all. Having only gone full-time with my business last ...year and to have been the only photographer listed from Southampton in the awards is pretty cool, it's fantastic to represent my home city. :D

Happy #InternationalMensDay and what better day to celebrate all the amazing grooms & groomsmen! It's an honour to document one of the most special days in their life and often the industry focuses on the bride so here's a big shout out to all the incredible guys!

I'm currently shooting my last wedding of 2018 which also happens to be my most local one yet at New Place Hotel, Hampshire - managed by Legacy Hotels & Resorts and what a magnificent day it's been. Rachel, Nick & their guests have been so much fun to photograph. Just having a moment to reflect during the wedding breakfast and I'm truly blessed to be able to call this my job, photographing a couple's gorgeous wedding day at stunning venues like this. Having such a glorious sunset for my final wedding this year is definitely the cherry on top. I'm already buzzing to share the sneak peeks and there's still loads more awesome snaps to take! Eek!Excited! 🌅📷🍁

Such a stunning day documenting Rachel & Gareth's picturesque autumn wedding at Old Saint's Church & Oakley Hall Hotel. There were so many amazing moments throughout the day and love how it was centred so much around family including their beautiful two daughters as bridesmaids From a unique service at a 12th century church to a wonderful atmosphere at Oakle...y Hall with wedding guests mingling in the warm autumn sun and of course some gorgeous bride and groom portraits in the garden before the sun set, it felt as if summer never left! The evening was a particular highlight of the day with hilarious speeches, a fun Mr & Mrs and shoe game see how well the couple knew each other. Loved how they involved all their wedding guests from the littlest ones from just a few months old to the grandparents all boogieing the night away (I do recall lots of wedding guests doing the Baby Shark dance which was fantastic!) Wow!! This is an amazing surprise to find out I'm a regional finalist in The Wedding Industry Awards! Eeek! Such a gorgeous day documenting Daisy May Tonge & Laurence's beautiful autumn wedding at Rownhams House, Southampton. Laurence is a saxophonist who recently graduated with a Masters in Performance at the Royal College of Music and it was so lovely to hear his band play throughout the day from the ceremony and reception drinks. There were so many amazing moments but I particularly loved Daisy'...s beautifully confident and heartwarming speech about her new husband which was awesome to witness plus some tearjerker moments from Laurence's speech about his new wife that had the whole room fetching their tissues. Definitely a wedding to remember! I've loved getting to know this fantastic down-to-earth couple and over the moon with the photos of their special day. Congratulations guys! . A fantastic day photographing Lizzy & Simon's autumnal wedding at the charming Bartley Lodge Hotel in the New Forest. Despite the drizzly weather, the atmosphere couldn't have been happier! This day was centered around family with Lizzy's two sons walking her down the aisle and her daughter and two daughter-in-laws as bridesmaids. We were very lucky to have Nisha as our photographer for our big day! And oh my goodness me, the photographs are stunning!!! Nisha captured the happiness of our day perfectly! The amount of comments and compliments we have had from friends/family/even people we don’t know for our photographs is overwhelming. Nisha worked very hard for us all day and always with a smile. If you’re looking for amazing photographs to capture any special occasion then I highly recommend Nisha!

We were so lucky to have Nisha capture our big day so wonderfully this May, not only did the pictures turn out better than we could ever imagine but Nisha made everyone feel so relaxed in front of the camera, we couldn't have asked for a better photographer. Before our big day Nisha also did an engagement shoot for us and again we were blown away with the quality of the photos! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a very friendly, relaxed and professional photographer! We will be sure to use her again in the future when we have more special memories to capture.

We have booked Nisha for our wedding this May and opted for a package including an engagement shoot. We are not naturally comfortable in front of a camera and were super nervous about this... We didn't need to be. Nisha was lovely and made us feel really relaxed about everything. We brought our (far more photogenic but not particularly cooperative) dog along with us and it didn't faze Nisha at all.



And the resulting photos are brilliant! We initially opted for Nisha because we were looking for natural, fun and candid shots that would capture the spirit of the moment. The engagement shoot photos absolutely do this and we have had so many compliments from friends and family.



Now we just know that the wedding photos on the day will be perfect and we cannot wait.

So many friends and family members mentioned how friendly and enthusiastic she was on the day and she captured so many lovely moments without us even noticing she was there most of the time!

Nisha photographed our wedding this week! It was amazing to have her document our day. You hardly noticed she was there and all of our guests commented on how friendly she was through the day. We booked a full day package. Nisha got there at 12 and left at 10! Photographing the minute I saw my groom to our first dance late at night. It was amazing to have her there. She mentioned we would get sneek peek photos in a couple of days (we assumed it would be longer as she left at 10 on the wedding). We were amazed to see an email less than 48 hours with a selection of photos from the day. They were perfect, stunning, amazing and we couldn't wait to show them off. We are about to go on our honeymoon and can't wait to see the rest of the photos. We want to say thank you so much for everyone you have done! Nisha photographed our wedding in August this year. Not only is Nisha a warm, friendly and easy to be around person, but she managed to capture such intimate moments - moments that captured our happiness in the moment, joy and silliness too! Plus the occasional secret stolen kiss when you don't think anyone is looking. Nisha was also incredibly discreet - we barely noticed she was there - in the best way possible. I don't feel very photogenic but she managed to bring out the most relaxed and comfortable version of us in front of the camera at both our engagement shoot and our wedding. I had many compliments on what a brilliant photographer we had and the sneak peeks which arrived with us very quickly went down a treat. Other friends have never had photos from their wedding so quickly, so this is definitely one of Nisha's unique selling points! I highly recommend Nisha for your wedding - she can capture the beauty, the peace and joy, and fun of the whole day perfectly!

My new husband Giles and I asked Nisha to photograph our wedding in March this year. She was perfect! So friendly to all our guests. Our photos are absolutely beautiful.



Nisha was so professional throughout the day. She was discreet at personal moments, such as when my Dad and I were waiting outside the church to walk in. I was so surprised to see photographs of us from that time, as I hadn't even realised Nisha was there! But I'm so glad she was, as she captured all the most special moments of the day.

I was apprehensive at first about the photo shoot sessions with Nisha Haq especially with the fact I had recently given birth. Nisha Haq made me feel beautiful and confident about myself. It was an exciting photo shoot time with Nisha and you could see she was passionate about what she does.
