Since all the kitesurfing places were taken, I went with kitesurfing friends as a non kiter to Tarifa in November 2017 . It was a great holiday. I enjoyed messing around with the power kite on the beach, paddleboarding and the evenings out to local restaurants. All 3 instructors were great, ensuring everyone stayed safe and had a good time. As a non kiter I also checked out the local horse riding and had an amazing 2 hour horse ride up into the hills & along the beach. Great group of people, good organisation, amazing holiday.

Ideal location (shallow water, showers, toilets, hot food etc) super friendly instructors. Ideal place to learn.

I had my first SUP taster session with Paul at Nomadic Kitesurf on Sunday and totally loved it. I was a little nervous at times but Paul is an excellent teacher and put me and my friend (who's a bit freaked by water) totally at ease in no time at all. Can't wait to go again asap for more lessons. Would highly recommend him. Just such an amazing time.

I had a couple of lessons at Calshot and on the strength of these signed up for the trip to Tarifa in November 2016. I have to say it's one of the best holidays I've had in ages! The tuition was professional, constructive and good fun. Having the school's full range of kites meant we were always able to make the most of the conditions and in addition the location was great, the accomodation was comfortable and some of the local restaurants were ace. The general group banter and a 1kg steak remain particular highlights! Defo heading back in 2017...

I Learned the basics with Nomadic at Calshot and then went on the Tarifa trip in 2016 where I progressed to being able to get up on the board and go quite a distance in deep water with bigger wave conditions than down at Calshot. I was very satisfied with the training at Calshot and Tarifa with Paul, Keith and Cathy. You could tell that they are all passionate about kitesurfing and want to see you succeed in the sport. The Week in Tarifa was amazing as well, great bunch of people, after spending all day kitesurfing we met every evening for a few beers and some food.. Except one night when the whisky came out... Accommodation in Tarifa was clean and in an amazing location overlooking the sea so you could see the conditions even before you leave for the beach.. I really hope to do this again in 2017!

Having had some excellent training with Nomadic Kitesurf at Calshot I jumped at the chance to go on their 1st overseas kitesurf holiday to Tarifa, Spain.

I was met at the airport by one of the instructors and along with other members of the course we we're driven to our accommodation. The accommodation was at a fantastic campsite close to the kitesurfing beaches of Tarifa. We we're allocated cabins with a fantastic view across the Mediterranean sea to Morocco. They we're clean and provided all the facilities needed for the stay including a campsite shop and bar/restaurant.

Each morning we would meet to discuss the conditions and therefore the plan for the day.

The journey to the beach was minutes before transfering all the equipment to create a camp on the beach.

There was plenty of equipment for all levels and conditions. There was an instructor to every two or three students dependending on level. At all times there was a clear emphasis on safety. The conditions at Tarifa we're more challenging than the flat shallow water at Calshot. The first skill to master is getting out past the beach break into deeper water. This is invaluable if you want to have the confidence to kite at more demanding locations than Calshot.

The team constantly review your progress and provide valuable feedback to aid your progression.

The end of a days kiting normally involved a car park change and then a chat with a nice cold beer before heading back to the campsite. Most evenings it was a quick shower and change then out to dinner. There are some fantastic restaurants that we went to making it a fantastic social experience. There was always so much to discuss and share about the experiences of the day.

All in all a fantastic active holiday.

Would I do it again? Yes I already have and I plan to go again.

My thanks go to Paul for the thought and effort he has put into these trips and his excellent instructors who share their experience and passion for the sport.

Have wanted to paddleboard for sometime and was bought ready to ride. Gain confidence and plan a trip course for my birthday.. Feeling a little nervous we met Paul from nomadic kitesurf at calshot and was put at ease very relaxed and laid back no pressure �Paul gave us all the information we needed to be safe on the water lots of Info about the equipment.once on the water it took us very little time to be standing on the boards. We loved it

Our gain confidence was also amazing the folowing day a little achy from our first lesson we met with Jon..using different boards and paddles and spending a little time in chopier water .. We are really looking forward to getting our paddle legs back for our planning a trip course. With Paul.. This was the best birthday pressie ever.. Can highly recomend Paul and nomadic kitesurf.. We have found our new hobby �

Had a fantastic first lesson with Paul on Sunday and can't wait to go again! Looking forward to seeing the pictures. Would highly recommend Nomadic!

Great lesson today! Really getting the hang of it, even started riding toe edge towards the end. Can't wait to head back down for the next one.
