We have been coming for 5yrs now and it gets better every year! Minimal queues at both the bars and toilets which is always good, early afternoon music was brilliant, all staff are friendly and helpful as we were leaving one lady approached us to ask if we were getting a taxi and guided us to the one we had booked. The security checks on the way in are thorough and reassuring! I only have 2 minor issues: a massive group of blokes practically sat on top of us on the field, so close they were actually sat on my shoe at one point! smoking and swearing (not your fault obviously) and secondly the queue for face painting was so long we didn't get a chance to get it done. But we will be back next year

This will be my 5th year of coming (went to the cider festival in September) I have loved everyone I have been too. Usually happens the weekend of my birthday too so makes it even better. What more do you need- good friends, lots of yummy vegetarian food to choose from, awesome music and great cider..hopefully the sun will stick around too. Keep up the good work :)

So much better this year, had a great night. Food, time to get a drink (almost instant every trip to the bar), toilets and general atmosphere was fantastic.. top job

Toilets... No queues at the bar.. Not to many drunk youngsters.. I think you should do it the same day as lemon fest every year..

Lovely sunny evening chilling and enjoying the first bands , headlining act lost our attention .

Gourmet sandwich was excellent as were the crepes !

Due to alcohol running out we lost money spent on tokens , should have been an option to redeem !

Exiting planning and coordination made leaving much easier .

Great night as always, but what has happened to the music. Used to be up singing and dancing but this year the last two bands were hardly dance and sing music . I am afraid it ruined it for me. It somehow lost it's atmosphere so only 4 stars from me .

Great event with great music and fantastic atmosphere. I think it's getting a bit too expensive though, especially compared to what you used to pay

First time to go this year and it was very good! The only feedback would be more toilets as a 40 minute queue wasn't fun (I'm sure some people waited longer) and I felt sorry for the pregnant lady in the same queue as me too! ��

Brilliantly organised. Great event. But the music this year was a real downgrade from last year. Nothing to dance to for the last 3 hours. Not enough food kiosks. A tribute act for a particular band is not the way to end a night as you aren't going to please people. The sound wasn't right for the band with the 2 female mc's - it drowned them out and they were actually good! More acts like you started with! Please please think about it for next year. We had such a good day but it just wasn't quite the same.

Unfortunately it's been ruined by youngsters who turn up drunk and carry on drinking cider that they cannot handle. Last year we sat relaxed listening to the bands then all the tables were moved and we were rammed with a sea of ppl after 6 pm this was on Saturday. Shame coz it's the 1st time I've not been since it opened!!!

I've always come on the Friday night & until 2016 have always had an epic night. Unfortunately this year was somewhat lacking in atmosphere. Can't quite put my finger on why? Leaves me to question whether I will be coming next year.

Very expensive now. If you bought a ticket on the day and bought tokens to the equivalent of 5 pints, it would've cost you over £39!

A lot of beer festivals you get a glass and starter tokens. Occombe you get a plastic beaker and tokens costing £1.90p each, irrespective of how many you bought. Up 30p a pint on last year!

Food prices where you'd need to take out a second mortgage. That's if you could endure the never ending queue.

It won't be long before the beer side of the Occombe Beer Festival will become a side event.

It's a real shame because it was something I used to look forward too. Give me Summermoon any day!

The festival is run very well! The staff r amazing but the music lets it down! 3bf have the crowd going dancing then you play hard stuff! The last 3 hours is the best time of the night and people where leaving saying how the music was to heavy! Those few hours should have easy listening dancing music not what was played! A festival should be Rocking in those last final hours! Instead people left disappointed!!

Overcrowded, runs out of ciders almost immediately. Takes over an hour to get anywhere near a bar and the toilets are well... Not great. Could be great, but needs some careful management.

I have been to occombe beer festival since the first one but not this year reasons why . Over zealous searches one the way in far far far too many security who spent all night ogling girls and glowering at everyone else high drinks prices just feel the meaning of festival is being missed
