What an amazing 2 weeks its been, we are now fully back in the wedding season and looking forward to an incredible 2019 wedding season. Its going to be an amazing wedding weekend here at Ocean Kave and our award winning wedding team Adrian, Lisa, Jaqui, Rich, Olly and Freya can't wait to get the party started!

The blue skies have started 🙂 it won’t be long till the lawns are full of guests enjoyed some fabulous weddings we have coming up this year! Who’s getting excited?!?

Fantastic stag or hen party location Fisherton Farm. Only 20 mins drive from Ocean Kave - the accommodation is amazing and the hosts Jemma and Gavin are on hand to help you light the fire! Such a brilliant and unique stag/hen option.

We thought we would have a bit of fun for January, so here at Ocean Kave HQ we are putting our heads together to come up with a fun blog all about AWKWARD wedding questions. We see and get asked most things and its our job to offer to solutions to couples and help them find answers to tricky wedding related questions. If you have any burning questions you would like to see us answer please list below. This is some light hearted and hopefully reassuring wedding advice from the award winning Ocean Kave Events Team! We have just had some very exciting news!!! To celebrate Ocean Kave reaching the final of the The Wedding Industry Awards and his wedding photography featuring in the publication of Becky and Tom's amazing wedding in South West Bride and Westpoint Wedding Show magazine, this Sunday, sought after South West wedding photographer GRW Photography will be announcing an awesome opportunity for one lucky couple getting married at Ocean Kave - watch this space........

Wow what a venue! Me & my husband are so pleased we changed our wedding venue to ocean Kave. We had an amazing time with no faults to the wedding at all, all thanks to Kathy, Adrian & their amazing staff for organising the day.

We were a little worried as we'd not even tried the food or wine but have got to say it was perfect, our guests were amazed especially as most weddings we've been to, the food portions are normally small & the wine isn't great!

We can't wait to return next year ��

We've been lucky enough to stay in the accommodation 3 times, ( which have all been great in their layouts ), attend a fab wedding & have our Christmas evening meal & function here.



Our Christmas meal was lovely... The food & service from the waiting staff was spot on. 30 empty plates going back to the kitchen after every course. Compliments to the chef.



Also well done to the DJ who kept the music going all night, and keep the dance floor full... He even managed to bring out the Dad Dancer in me...!!! Lol.

We stayed at Frankies Cottage with our 4 children from Monday 2nd April to Friday 6th April with our intimate wedding arranged in the Kave for the Tuesday, a package that was tailored perfectly to our needs by Kathy.



From the first point of contact Kathy was just brilliant, she looked at what we wanted and presented us with the perfect package. And when Kathy was unavailable, Rich was always on hand to help me with any questions I had.



Our wedding day so magical, everything went so smoothly, the food was out of this world! Cooked for us by Chris in the privacy of our cottage. The whole team where amazing from start to finish, With us and with the children. They made our dream day possible and gave us a fantastic break at the same time.



The cottage was spacious and well equipped. Tastefully and luxuriously decorated. Lovely little extras at every turn and the hot tub was a big hit with the 2 eldest children.



We will definitely be returning for future breaks, we absolutely love it here and the fact that you are treated like a friend as well as a guest by Kathy and the team is the icing on the cake!

We had an intimate wedding at Ocean Kave in March and want to say a massive thank you to Kathy, Rich and the whole team. Right from our first visit to the Kave we knew we wanted to get married there; they understood exactly what we wanted and nothing was too much trouble, all staff did everything they could to make our day wonderful.



All of our guests loved the accommodation which was of a very high standard with lots of little extra touches and we were made to feel very welcome. On the day I was very nervous and Kathy and Rich made me very at ease knowing that they were there to sort everything so I could just enjoy it all. The Kave was decorated perfectly and the food was amazing.



We will definitely stay again for a holiday and feel so lucky that we got to get married in such beautiful surroundings. Thank you.

The wedding kave was perfect and the view from the sunset rooms is amazing. The food was cooked to perfection and looked stunning. This is an amazing place, our daughters wedding was beautiful. The accommodation was first class, the staff are very helpful, would highly recommend. Hope to go back again soon.

The moment we first saw this venue in October 2016 we thought wow, and this past weekend (23rd June 2018) it was wow again.

I cannot thank the staff enough for making the wedding of my daughter Katie Sirdifield to Jack Bobin such a special event. Blessed by amazing weather, the venue did not fail to deliver to our expectations.

Nothing is too much problem for the staff and they really do make sure everything you want is catered for and you are looked after. The cottages on site are the perfect place to relax before and after the event, I loved rehearsing my father of the bride speech in the hot tub!

Thank you for opening the Bar in the barn for us on the Sunday evening, it gave Katie and Jack and their friends a great location to have a drink and chat and unwind from the day before without having to worry about taxis/driving etc.

My husband & I had our wedding here in June and we couldn't have asked for anything more amazing. The team were very professional and the venue is just out of this world with amazing views. The accommodation is very luxurious & spacious I would recommend visiting to stay in the cottages to anyone. The actual wedding day was amazing I could of wished for more even the weather didn't put a dampener on it it was just fantastic from start to finish. If you are thinking of getting married at Ocean Kave - DO IT! We had our intimate wedding of only 18 guests on Sunday and it was the most incredible experience! Adrian couldn't of done more to help us have the most special day and everyone had a nice relaxed weekend staying in the unbelievable cottages. The views are stunning, the food is delicious, the staff are helpful and organised, I could go on. Thank you so much all at Ocean Kave!!

I had an engagement party at ocean kave, myself and my wife to be were so pleased with our decision to have it at ocean kave, the staff were amazing and they had everything set out perfectly.

We had the most beautiful sunset with the sun glistening off the sea, such a romantic scenery to have we couldn't thank ocean kave and their wonderful team enough.

The venue is child friendly and had lots of activities for them to enjoy which were age appropriate and in a safe environment.

We also had a large variety buffet for our guests which was at the very highest standard, all our family and friends had an amazing night and we would love to return to this beautiful venue.

From booking our viewing all the way through to after our wedding day, Ocean Kave were amazing. The venue has the most amazing atmosphere come rain or shine. The view out of the Kave is spectacular and it is the same for the Sunset rooms. My wife and I were able to create our dream wedding at Ocean Kave and we cannot thank them enough for this.



The facilities at the venue are fantastic also. With a bar available for hire the evening before the wedding (a great place for friends and family to meet and catch up), lawn games for the kids (and big kids!) and a very well stocked bar with a very nice selection of spirits, wines and beers we knew we had found the perfect place.



Ruth and I cannot thank Cathy, Rich, Adrian, Jackie and the rest of the team enough for what they have down for us. We just wish we could get married again every year!

Eric and I had our wedding here yesterday and couldnt have asked for anything more wonderful. It was everything we could have wished for plus bucketfulls! Kathy has such a genuine passion for her venue and business which cascades down to her team. They were totally professional during the planning stage and on the day. The team were immaculate in terms of service, appearance and were very personable. As a venue, this was our dream location which Kathy made happen for us. The Kave was intimate and perfect for such an emotional event, decorated to create a romantic and luxury feel. It is such a stunning location - jaw dropping and dramatic finished off by a spectacular sunset. The food was the best i have had at any wedding i have been to - visually and by taste. Serving roast beef and Yorkshire pudding to our Yorkshire guests was a triumph- and compliments were plentiful. The accomodation was spotless and luxurious. My new husband and i are looking forward to coming back and celebrating our 1st anniversary next year. Thank you Kathy xx

Couldn't rate this place enough, the attention to detail throughout our stay was outstanding. The standard in the accommodation was exceptional, tables set for breakfast, scones, clotted cream , jam. Towels, beach towels, robes, slippers all added to the rooms high standards. As for the wedding venue and service just WOW, thank you to all the staff who made our stay so memorable, be hard to find somewhere so beautiful again xxx

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! We had our wedding here on the 3rd December and had the most magical time. The staff are absolutely fantastic and go above and beyond to make your day perfect. They are a credit to Ocean Kave and you can tell they all really care about the guests. Nothing is too much trouble and they really do make you feel special. We had a small and intimate wedding and all the party stayed in the various cottages on site. The accommodation really has the wow factor. Everyone was thrilled with the cottages. The small touches such as the Christmas trees and the scones with clotted cream and jam just made it even more perfect. The mulled wine and mince pies on arrival helped too �. The kids loved the games room and play area, and loved going to collect the eggs from the chickens. As for the wedding day, it was just perfect. The cave is the most magical, beautiful and wonderful setting and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to have their special day there. We hadn't even seen the venue before we went down and it really didn't disappoint. We want to send a massive thank you from myself, Darren and all our guests for a truly amazing weekend to remember.

We travelled down from London the next weekend to view the venue in person even though I already knew we would book it! Booked in Jan 16 for Easter Sunday 2017, we had plenty of time for planning our big day.

Lots of calls, emails and reassurances from Kathy, Lisa and the rest of the team made the planning process so easy, even from a distance.

We had all the guests come to Westward Ho! for the weekend which made the whole event even more special.

The actual wedding day could not have been more perfect (well maybe less wind and more sun..) with the team making sure everything went exactly as we had planned. The Kave was so intimate and romantic � All the guests loved the unique venue and some even said it was the best wedding they had ever been to �
