Myself and the girls booked on for last weeks gin tasting at Vineys. It was such a lovely evening. Jane and Mike were perfect hosts and so very knowledgeable! The price point was bang on and amazing value in my opinion with four proper sized gins (unlike some tasting where you literally get an egg cup full!) and beautiful cheeses and meats.. The event had a great intimate feel about it and was something a bit different for our group of friends to do together. Will certainly we coming back for another one! Thanks so much xx

We went to the gin tasting event in 9 March at the Old Chemist in Southampton. All the tickets were sold out so we were expecting a good event. We tried 4 lovely gins and various quality tonics to accompany them. Jane, the host, gave a full description of each gin along with its background and a good suggestion of which would be the best tonic and fruit to use with it (all of which were provided). We also were each given a lovely cheese board with s number of different cheeses, bread and biscuits. It was a lovely night and exceptionally good vs,he for money. We will definitely be going to the one at the end of April.
We really enjoyed a wonderful gin tasting evening at the Old Chemist in Southampton. We tried 4 different gins, with their recommended tonics (not just the usual standard ones) and garnish. Jane provided lots of information and we also had a superb individual cheese board. It was a very sociable evening, we met some lovely new people and it was great to continue my gin education. A good value, well run event which I hope to do again sometime!
This is a must try event to any avid Gin fan or even those who are only just starting to experimenting with the gin craze! Great for a date or some friends get together. We went to the Old Chemist at the end of April and had a lovely night. Jane really lovingly organised it with 4 unique craft gins to try with various tonic mixers and garnish recommendation (all provided), and served a cheese platter (with chutney, cheese, grapes, chocolate, olives and crackers). Lovely touch on the environment conscious presentation!
Great value for money for a few drinks (4 large!) and nibbles night out, and there is a menu for those wanting to continue after that.
We really enjoyed it and will surely return.
