Hope you’re all having a lovely Christmas - and to give it that extra special touch - we’re selling our ice cream at half price until the end of the year! 🙂 We’re open today, Saturday & Sunday 12.00 ~ 5.00pm

We over-ordered on the Gingerbread - so we’re selling them with third off today & tomorrow - £10.00 instead of £15.00. (Only a few left). There are approx 27 gingerbread tree decorations for you to have some prime family time decorating and displaying on your tree! 😊

We want to wish all our customers and friends a very happy Christmas, and great new year. We are grateful to you all for your custom during 2018, and look forward to welcoming you again during 2019. We are presently planning what new flavours etc we will introduce next year - and just in case things get difficult between the UK & the EU, have already stocked up the essentials for the next season! 🙂

Christmas is near - and our seasonal flavours are too! We have Christmas Pudding, Fig & Mascarpone, Cardamom & Vanilla, Cinnamon, ... Cinnamon & Apple and Creme Brûlée. These are available now and to order for take away. For take home we ask you to phone or email us with your order as we won’t be making anymore after Wednesday next week. Half litre = £7.00, One litre = £13.00.
We also have a range of our own chocolates, plus some super high quality chocolates from Belgian & Holland. They are going quite fast, so do come soon! 🙂

Friday 9th - we will be closed and spending time in our chocolate kitchen making the finishing touches to our Christmas selection of chocolates. Sorry if you were thinking of visiting us then, but we look forward to hopefully seeing you on another occasion. Just in case you were thinking of visiting us tomorrow (Friday - we’re living in hope!), due to the weather forecast being so dire we will be closed (open again Saturday) and be Chocolate-making instead. - Christmas chocolate selections coming up!

With summer starting to wane our thoughts are turning to the next season, which basically means Chocolate! (Continuing the ice cream though!). To that end we are closing until Thursday this week to do some changes in the parlour. We will be gradually bringing in our chocolate stock over the coming month or so with Christmas stock - plus some ‘winter’ flavours of ice cream.

We’ve just made two new Sorbets which (though we say so ourselves) are quite amazing. They are Bramley Apple, which has a bit of a zing to it, and Damson, which is just altogether yummy. If you’re in the area do drop in for a taste - you may end up buying a cone!

We hope you’re enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend! We will be open tomorrow (Monday), but closed on Tuesday (28th). Normal opening from Wednesday again!

Just a heads up that we are not opening today (Tuesday), but will otherwise be open every Tuesday until schools go back. Apologies if you were planning to visit us today - but we’d love to see you later in the week!

We’ll the liquorice Ice Cream went down well, which means we will shortly be making some more! But whether or not that flavour is for you we have got a few more ‘firsts’ - like Passion Fruit ice cream, and also Apricot & Plum Sorbets (that’s 2 different Sorbets!). Because our cabinet isn’t large enough to display all our Sorbets, we have also introduced ‘Sorbets in a jar’, which we keep in our Dessert freezer so customers can buy a jar of their favourite flavour (same quantity & price as a scoop) - and we give a 20p refund if jar & lid are returned in a reusable condition! It’s promising to be a hot weekend, so do come and get some ice cream or sorbet to cool you down - we’d love to see you!

The Harbourside Festival is about to begin this weekend - and in addition to the recent new flavours we have introduced, we are launching Liquorice ice cream (it seems to be a bit like marmite - you either love it or hate it!). It has just gone into the cabinet this afternoon and is proving popular. For those who have asked us to do it - it’s here! 🙂 We are open until 9.00pm tonight and tomorrow (Saturday) - we would love to see you!

Hope you’re enjoying the beautiful weather! We have introduced a few more interesting flavours including Chai and Cardamom & Vanilla, plus we have our Thatcher’s Gold Cider sorbet. As a summer special we have made a pan of Prosecco & Raspberry sorbet - but if you’re interested you’ll have to come soon because it’s about 60% gone already! Whatever flavours you like we’re sure to have something to cool you down - do come and visit us, we’d love to see you!

Thursday (17th) - Due to a hospital appointment we apologise that we will be opening at 3.00pm on Thursday. Sorry if you were thinking of visiting us earlier in the day - but we would love to see you between 3.00 ~ 6.00pm or another day!

On Saturday we will have been at Cargo 2 for one year! To mark the occasion we are giving a free chocolate flake away with every ice cream purchased (whilst stocks last). We would love to see you! A huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who we’ve had the privilege of meeting & serving during the last 12 months - we appreciate you!

Many people come into the parlour having allergies - lactose intolerance, coeliacs, etc or are vegans - but the common denominator with all of them is their need for allergen-free & dairy-free product. Partially in response to this - and because we enjoy experimenting - we are producing an increasing number of Sorbets, all of which have only natural ingredients and contain nothing allergenic - and all dairy-free. Through our making process the texture of these is smooth and d...elicious (just like our Gelato!), and nothing like the icy offerings people associate with sorbets. Our range of Sorbets (all made using 50% fruit) include Strawberry, Raspberry, Lemon, Lime, Peach, Banana, Blackcurrant, Blackberry, Lychee, Apple, Orange, Mango, pineapple, Black Cherry - and a new one - Pomegranate (customers are loving it!). We also make Chocolate Sorbet, which some prefer to the dairy alternative! Oh, and we also stock Gluten-free Cones. We don’t always have all of these available so if you intend to come for a particular flavour do give us a call first.
Our quest to ensure everyone can enjoy our products continues, but we confess failure to those who have asked us for warm ice cream! (Sorry - not even working on this one!)

Wonderful ice cream. Amazing value for money; even more so when you consider it's all hand made with quality ingredients. Fantastic as just a few scoops in a pot by itself, or in a waffle cone. Personally, I prefer the option of buying a tub, and then I can eat it all week! Try the magnum-style ice creams - no "air whipped" nonsense at Olivers, it's packed full of ice cream (and my husband recommends the pistachio covered ones!)

The only draw back is you'll never want mass produced, chemical filled tat from the supermarket ever again (but I guess that's not really a negative!)

Went to opening of Olivers at Cargo 2, Bristol today. Lovely ice cream, staff are really friendly, looking forward to many more visits.

We had the pleasure of tasting the delights of this fantastic product at a party on Saturday, with our particular favourite being the cider sorbet made with my husbands favourite brand! The owners of Oliver's are clearly passionate about their product and it was a pleasure meeting them and hearing about their business.

Totally delicious ice cream, haven't tasted anything better. The harbour is the perfect place to enjoy it.

I think it's actually cheap for the quality and quantity you get! Such rich flavorful gelato and sorbets, minus the fat and fuss! Can't wait to go back again.

The Best Ice Cream I have ever tasted! A fantastic place to visit!

Lovely flavours. Good selection and the bonus being you could have a small sample before you bought. Enjoyed visit with grandchildren who adored the crepes. Only slight criticism, a bit slow but understandable with 2 people serving. Would not deter us from going again.
