Today aboard Our Joe-L, hosting a Fisherman’s Experience for this group of lads from London.
A short stint jigging the feathers and then a haul of the Crab and Lobster Pots saw the lads catch several Mackerel, Herring, Whiting, Brown Crab and 2 Hermit Crabs in just under 2 hours. Oh a a quick visit from the local seal when we was hauling the pots too!
I’m pleased to say the group loved the new passenger #Lifejackets and said they barely knew they had one on.
... What a nice way to end the weekend. Safe travels back to that #London lads!

May 2019 aboard Our Joe-L 🎣🐟🐠🐟🐠
May has been an interesting month for us that started with a 250mile round trip to and from the Isles of Scilly. This was not for a fishing trip but for my other passion, Gig Rowing. Supporting and participating for Brixham Gig Rowing Club at the World Pilot Gig Rowing Championships. The Our Joe-L safely took us there and back on be tank of fuel and this certainly got me thinking of the future!

🏆 It’s trophy week aboard Our Joe-L this week. 🏆
For the fishing holiday during the Whitsun bank holiday half term we have 2 trophies up for grabs. The Whitsun Annual Trophy 🏆 (Best Fish) The Elona Nunn Trophy 🏆 (most species)
... Topping the table at the moment with best fish is Bob Nunn with a Cod of 13lb and in joint 1st plaice for the species is Bob Nunn and Roy Bigg on 7 species, between then they’ve had: Cod , Pollock , Ling , Mackerel , Bull Huss , Pouting , Dogfish , Ballan Wrasse , Plaice.
Not bad for 3 days fishing in fairly choppy weather. Roll on the next 2 days!
