When the weather is good it’s true what they say you can’t holiday anywhere better than the UK and Cornwall certainly has some of the best beaches.
If visiting Cornwall, it’s worth getting a National Trust Membership as a lot of the beach parking is National Trust, also if you planning on taking your four legged furry friend with you, all the beaches seem to be very dog friendly.
Here is just a snapshot of some that we visited on our holidays.

We had Emma and Chris’s camper, aka Gonzales, in on Saturday for a couple of exterior mod’s, inc: genuine Vw sport line front bumper spoiler and aftermarket light bar headlights. 😀

Kids have an inset day tommorw, weathers amazing, I know, it’s a night away in the camper 👍☀️😀

Wow. We recently had some blackout curtains fitted in our amazingly converted van (all courtesy of Mark of course) and we couldn't be happier with them. Not only are they a really fantastic quality but our 2 and 4 year old boys slept in each morning until 8am, one day it was 8.45am! Never have our boys slept in so late they have always woken at 6am until now! It absolutely made our holiday so thank you Oxcampers, can't wait to come back for our roof bed conversion soon!

We had an amazing long weekend away in Harlyn. So pleased we hired the awning as it drizzled a bit, but also for the extra privacy and space. And it's well worth adding the bike racks too!

It's fab to just drive off to new places knowing you can cook up a meal and chill out wherever. Our kids absolutely loved it. It was their 'den on wheels'!

We've made amazing memories and can't wait to book with you again.

We had a really positive experience with our conversion, Mark always made time for our calls and gave great advice. The conversion took longer than expected but this was down to VW production challenges and Oxcampers did all they could to chase. Myself & 7 friends hired both Bondi and Croyde for 4 days last weekend to go to Bestival on the Isle of White.

No problems at all, the vans were really enjoyable and made the whole experience so much better! We will never again do a festival without them.

Mark, we took delivery of our courtesy van from VW today, a 2013 t5 kombi highline and I genuinely mean this when I say that our van is a million times nicer inside. The factory kombi literally has a few panels of grey hardboard and that's it!? If there is anyone out there thinking of buying one... I wouldn't! Get Mark to convert it!!

Mark has done a fantastic job converting our wonderful T5. His advice and knowledge were valuable and we couldn't be happier with the result. Having had a few day trips out for the sake of a cuppa, we are really looking forward to our first holiday in it at the end of May - Wales here we come!. Thanks Mark.

I took out Bondi for the bank holiday weekend in May for the 3 day Tour of Wessex bike race based over in Somerton. I've now hired out all 3 of the vans available, the other 2 campers my wife and I have taken to festivals (so much better than a tent).



I loved Bondi, great fun to drive, nice interior with storage space for your stuff and having a fridge is great, it could also manage to fit my racing bike in between stages; felt very roomy. At 6'3" tall the thing I enjoyed the most was the extendable roof! The bed is comfy and easy to deploy/stow away and big enough for 2, a little on the cosy side but perfect for a long weekend.



Hiring was easy and Mark was extremely accommodating, I had some quite specific needs when it came to the collection time and a late return, I was probably being quite a pain, but Mark was very helpful and happy to help.



We've used them 3 times now, it's been a pleasure doing business with Oxcampers each time and the vans have been great to use. We will be using them again, hiring a campervan has been such a lot of fun we're thinking about buying one or getting a conversion.



You won't regret choosing Oxcampers.

I can not recommend Mark high enough. He fitted a pop roof, leisure battery,diesel heater and lined our van. The work is an amazing quality and he made so much time for us we are beyond pleased. Now to save for the rest of the conversion!! We will be back!!

I approached Oxcampers for some guidance on how best the convert my VW T5 panel van, the reason we chose them was due to the very open approach via their Facebook page photographing each and every stage of the conversion process on multiple customers vehicles and there were lots to look at for ideas.



We visited Mark to see the set up of his operation and were extremely impressed with his workshop and he showed us around some of his hire vans and some current projects to demonstrate the quality of his work.



He walked us through each and every option we had and was very honest and helpful at every stage.



We finally booked in the van with a mammoth list of tasks for Mark to complete and made the decision to follow the stages of our progressing project via the Facebook page.



Finally the day came for us to collect the Camper and he had done an excellent job, before we left he walked us through the stages of setting up the camper and using each element.



All in all a fantastic service highly recommended professional company who I would/will use time and time again.

Had an excellent very long weekend away in mid-Wales in Fistral last week (13-18th Sept). Good strong engine in the van, easy on the motorway, no problem through the lanes, made it up the steep hills easily. Inside is perfectly fitted out. All very well organised and my car was paked in a gated & fenced enclosure.



Very happy, will return.

Fantastic! I hired the Fistral for a weekend of camping with my little boy. Mark was very helpful and the booking process was easy. Even better was the van - a lovely little machine with loads of home comforts. If you fancy a weekend away or a week’s camping, I can’t recommend them more.

Our first meeting was friendly and informative. Mark's knowledge and experience gave us every confidence that OXcampers would be the right choice. Plenty of time was given going through the various options, but as others have said, no hard sell, just honest straight forward advice. It was clear from the outset that we were talking to somebody that was not only competent and experienced, but was also passionate and experienced about camper vans and an outdoor lifestyle.



During the conversion process we were kept up to date throughout. Our van had previously had work done by other companies that presented a couple of challenges and mid conversion decisions were needed. In every instance Mark was on the phone straight away to discuss the options available to us so as to avoid unnecessary delays.



The end result is superb. We were given a thorough explanation and advice on how everything worked and made sure that we were entirely happy before we went on our way.



The quality of the furniture and the workmanship is outstanding, can't fault it one bit.



After sales service is second to none, we had a couple of minor issues, nothing that spoilt our enjoyment or use of the van, but Mark was on it without delay or hesitation putting them right immediately.



We've now had the van a few months and absolutely love it. It has exceeded our expectations and having had some use already the excellent quality of the work and materials used is evident.
