What's your preference with tapas - sherry, beer or wine?

Yes, yes, yes! A fabulous afternoon spent eating amazing tapas and drinking some of the best spanish wine outside of Spain! A rainy saturday afternoon turned into a special memory which we will definitely repeat.

We were upstairs in their bar for my daughters hen night and had a great time. The cocktails are gorgeous, the staff very friendly and the dj more than happy to do requests ... when asked for 'cheesy' he hit the nail on the head. Great night had by all :-)

We went to Pata Negra for our wedding day lunch after getting married at the registry office. Beautiful food, a lovely setting and great service. It was the perfect place for a low key family celebration. Can't recommend it enough x

We had our Wrap Party at Pata Negra/Noche Negra on Friday and I would recommend this place for ANY type of party. The staff are so nice and helpful - especially faced with 150 rowdy crew members all desperate for a drink at a free bar ;) Jo was fantastic in organising the night with me and Danny was fab running the night.



The decor, the service, the drinks and the nibbles we had were all spot on and we really enjoyed our evening there.



I also ate in the restaurant with a colleague beforehand and the food is fantastic - like, ohmygodfantastic. It's a beautiful restaurant and it had a really lovely atmosphere.



Little things also made a difference, things like the bill coming in an old cigarette tin and the Mojito's being served in Havana Club tin cans, awesome!

We had lunch here yesterday - the food, service and staff were excellent. Our daughter has 'digs' opposite and we had thought of popping in for a while. I am so pleased we did - the atmosphere is friendly and then the food appeared - delicious, well presented and very tasty. All I can say is it to visit - we visited as a family of four and there were both couples and families with much younger children there and everyone appeared to enjoy themselves. Go for it ��

We had bottomless brunch at the weekend with 5 of my dear friends. We had a ball, you kept the fizz flowing and the food was delicious. Thank you so much for a fab time �

Visited for the special Sunday bottomless brunch set menu with my friends. The food was faultless, every dish was different and incredibly tasty and the bottomless cava was never ending! In fact i didn't really see the bottom of my glass as it was always topped up! The staff were all brilliant, attentive and even let us order extra food! Will definitely be returning to check out the rest of the menu.

Staff friendly and attentive, without being overbearing. Food, well presented but not "to die for". However, it was an authentic, if short, menu. Much preferable to alternative tapas restaurants in the city. Drinks, stunning! It's hard to find anywhere that serves good Sherry, this place does. Very happy to see Miro Vermut too.



Overall, this delivered a proper Spanish experience! Glad I'm going to be working in Bristol for a while.

Quality tapas, authentic, friendly, great atmosphere, plenty of rum. This is the place to go in Bristol.

I loved it here, great formula - amazing tapas and atmosphere downstairs with a cocktail bar and DJ upstairs. Could have been in Barcelona not Bristol, recommend this place, food is awesome!

Had the lunch tapas and it was stunning. Delicious prawns, chorizo and padron peppers. Great service and nice atmosphere. Great place for a relaxed lunch or dinner!

Great tapas and cava at the bottomless cava brunch yesterday. Lovely staff and not too hard to get yur cava refilled. Great meat and perfect baked eggs

First time in Bristol and it was full of lovely helpful people one of whom recommend this place , which didn't disappoint, gorgeous tasty tapas and wine and the staff were very friendly and recommended a secret bar to go to ! That was awesome .

Fabulous evening staff attentive nothing too much trouble. Best tapas particularly loved the crisp poached egg another visit soon. Highly recommend

Came here on Saturday night for my cousins hen party. The food was amazing especially the meatballs. Will definitely come back x

A regular at Pata Negra, for a good reason

By far the best Tapas, Cava and Sherry in a fantastic location.

Great atmosphere, friendly and knowledgable staff complemented by phenomenal food

I can't recommend this place enough

wanted to go for a while..... lovely decor a,d staff were friendly, food was good but overpriced in my opinion. left feeling hungry

If you're in a group of 10 or more you have to eat from the set menu which is £25 per person - very overpriced for what you get.

You won't get chicken, beef, lamb but you do get pork, only in the form of 1 ham croquetas.

We were given the Pan con tomate and told 'Only eat one' !

Portions were small, menu choice was poor for the price.

I've paid less and had more variety and quantity in other Tapas places.



The best part of the meal was the Patatas Bravas.



If you're going in a small group it's probably good, as you aren't bound by a lacking menu.



We left hungry, which was a shame.
