Pca Fashion & Textiles Extended Diploma Description
Welcome to the official UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma In Fashion and Textiles at Plymouth College of Art Facebook page. This is your space to stay up to date with all the latest information from ED Fashion at Plymouth College Of Art.
Through specialist teaching that covers fashion and costume design, garment construction, textiles, print, fashion promotion and styling, this course will set you on the path to becoming a professional in the fashion or textile industry.
What qualifications will I gain?
* UAL Extended Diploma in Fashion & Textiles – equivalent to 3 full A-Levels
* Learning Skills and Complementary qualifications are embedded into this course
What qualifications will I need?
We normally offer places for the Extended Diploma in Fashion and Textiles to students who have at least 4 GCSEs at grade C or above, including English Lang. We also look for students that can show commitment and enthusiasm for art and design through examples of creative work. Applications welcome from candidates without formal qualifications who can provide evidence of their creativity and competence with English Language.
If you do not have the necessary experience or qualifications for the UAL Extended Diploma we can advise on how to achieve this.
How do I apply for the UAL Extended Diploma in Fashion and Textiles?
We offer all prospective students an opportunity to request an advisory interview to ensure that you are placed on the most suitable course; this can be a good opportunity to ask questions and get some advice on what we like to see in a portfolio.
More detailed information on the interview process and advice on preparing a portfolio can be obtained from Information Services on 01752 203434 or by emailing infoservices@plymouthart. ac. uk
When we receive your completed application form we will arrange for you to have an interview and ask you to bring along examples of your creative work.
Whilst we are happy to receive applications at any time of the year, we would encourage you to apply as early as possible before the start of the course.
