Hot off the press!!

We often get asked what our staff do at @pecorama when the trains aren't running and it's the winter season? You'd be surprised to know that we are as busy as ever. At the moment we are about to start building a new fun themed layout in the Exhibition. This starts with taking apart the old layout in the Garden Shed location (which we've just started). This is in preparation for us to build a brand new layout ready for the 2019 season. We've got a fantastic one lined up for you this year!

What a find! Amazing place to visit. Great soft play area, beautiful surroundings and lovely staff. My grandson particularly loved Rob and Hanky Mouse.

User

We visited Pecorama and loved it!! So impressed by how clean the whole venue was. Plenty for the little ones to do, thought we would only spend an hour here but ended up spending over 4.

The train ride is a great 20min attraction with plenty to look at along the way.

Would recommend booking online as you get 10% discount. Would definitely come here again

User

Visited today family really enjoyed. Ate at the garden room food was really nice.

User

Pecorama is a great place for a family outing especially if you have young/old children that are interested in trains of any kind.

The whole site is remarkable - good parking, lovely sea views, fun activities, great gardens/planting, fun entertainment and super old fashioned cream teas in the "Orion" Pullman coach! (Wonderful service from days gone by)!

We have visited Pecorama for several occasions with our youngsters, our oldies and now just the two of us! Very happy memories indeed!

User

Once a year we visit Beer and never miss the opportunity to visit Peco. It's a big part of our family holiday. 50 weeks for our return is too long

User

Love Pecorama. One of the grandchildrens’ favourite places. We have season tickets which are well worth it as we visit so often. Did the Santa train yesterday. I have to say Santa was lovely to the children and the adults too! Can’t wait for the next summer season.

User

James, Mike and Roy were so kind to us on our visit yesterday. We have been visiting every year with our son, Jack who has autism - and who is now a 21 year old strapping man since he was 6 or 7! He will never tire of Peco and your incredible displays and chugging through the tunnels on the steam train ride! See you next year!

User

It was a great day out for all the family. A bonus that Jools Holland was there to unveil the new train ‘Jools’.

User

I went to Pecorama with my 2 children yesterday. They're aged 5 & 3, we had a brilliant time. We spent 4 hours finding more and more things to do. The train ride was quaint and fun, the soft play is well designed and the outdoor areas are also really well laid out. It's nice the outdoor play areas have a soft material under them so it takes away some concerns of a trip or fall. The children were very excited by the 2.30 entertainment of the Jester and the model trains capped it off well. The gardens, which are lovely, were of less interest to the children but they did enjoy a walk around the secret garden. I'd advise a visit, it's a hidden gem in a beautiful location.

User

Great little place to visit some indoor and outdoor things to see and do...the train ride was nice also. Very hilly though and picnic area is over the far side of the site but a good day out had by all!

User

Excellent tourist attraction, lovely location overlooking the sea, well maintained and lovely scenic Beer Heights Light Railway which gives approximately a 12 minute fantastic ride , amazing gardens all very nice, my favourite is The Rainbow 🌈 Garden. The indoor and outdoor model railways very good and inspirational. The catering very good, great cream tea in The Orion carriage 🚃 served by a really nice man called Richard. Everything well maintained, also the entrance and attraction ticket, plus food and souvenirs great value. 10/10 attraction. Thanks 😊

User

Brilliant day out for all of us. Mum, Dad, kids Grandma and Grandpa. Train rides are great but also lovely gardens, play areas, (indoors and out). Spangles the Clown did a fantastic show and we all finished off with a game of crazy golf. Good food, reasonably priced in the cafes and all the staff were friendly and helpful and all the facilities were clean and very well looked after.

User

Beautiful place, lovely helpful staff and 2 six year old boys had the "best day ever"

User

A very lovely day out for children and adults alike. The gardens are simply stunning. Staff are very professional, helpful and friendly. I will be returning for sure. very lovely day out for children and adults alike. The gardens are simply stunning. Staff are very professional, helpful and friendly. I will be returning for sure.

I spent a very pleasant lunch up by the pizza kiosk where there is a lovely sun terrace overlooking Beer Heights. Whilst there I met with a very pleasant lady who I believe is the site manager who gave me some interesting insights into the history of Pecorama and the initiatives that they have brought in to give customers a richer experience, such as the new drive a locco for a fiver.

10/10 five stars.

User

A brilliant day out for the young ones and even the young ones in their 50s! This was my first visit in about 20 years and I’d like to think it won’t be as long before my next one.

User

We went here in half term week, a very enjoyable day had by all, we paid for first class tickets, which included crazy golf and 2 train rides. We loved the train, free face painting and the play areas, we tried to have a game of crazy golf but there was about 10 people in front of us on every hole, so quite alot of queuing, which is not great with toddlers, we gave up half way through the game. The only thing that let this place down was the food as always in these sort of places, waiting ages for food, I didn't see one staff member smile whilst serving me, so they were clearly depressed on how overstretched they were. Personally I would take a picnic if I was to ever venture this way again!

User

A great place to visit for all that have a love for trains. In a addition to the trains it has beautiful gardens, well thought out outdoor play parks, model railways, mini golf and soft play for the kids, the staff are friendly and family oriented. Only downfall is the is the cafe/ restaurant could serve hot food later in to the day. Otherwise all very enjoyable.

User

Until recently I would have rated Pecorama as a five. However the decision to charge 1 year old children £30 membership for a year as well as older children means that Peco is no longer affordable or good value for money. Realistically my 1 year old can just about use the very small indoor play area. Can go on 1 train ride with an adult. Cannot use the outside parks or larger indoor play area let alone walk round the gardens. This seems ridiculous and sadly greedy. Good luck with this Peco as I can’t see it being popular.
