MACMILLAN FUNDRAISING WEEK Sorry this post is really late, only excuse I've got is 'it's because I've been watching the weather!!' On Saturday (22nd) we have a BBQ in the garden and The Underdogs will be playing (3-6pm), have been hoping the weather forecast would mean we could have both in the garden, not looking good at the moment........рҹҳҸрҹҳҸ Still never mind it will still be a fabulous afternoon!!!!!
... Next Tuesday (25th) we have a quiz........ well worth coming!!
Then on Friday 28th we will be holding our 'Coffee Morning' which as all you regulars will know is great fun, even though it does not involve much coffee and usually lasts all day рҹҳҒрҹҳҒ

Hi All !! Sorry it's taken me all this time to post again, there has been loads going on with me trying to get everything ready for our 'Macmillan Fund Raising Week' but I thought I'd better update you all on the Joker and Bonus Ball Competitions!!
Joker: On 2nd September Rob Osman opened envelope No.23 which contained the 10 of Spades, netting him ВЈ40 and then on 9th September Jim Henry opened envelope No.28 this contained the 5 of Clubs, he also got ВЈ40, they were, obviousl...y, both in the Peg when the draw took place, gaining them the bonus ВЈ20 for being here!!! This week the prize fund stands at ВЈ7033 for finding The Joker, with 19 cards remaining, this also includes 5 Picture Cards which are worth ВЈ400 if you pick one and are in the Peg when it is drawn...... Good reason to pop in at 6pm on Sunday, if you are a Member...............
Bonus Ball: 1st September was a Roll Over !! 8th September was No.48, so the ВЈ96 goes to Carl Partington.. again....!! Well done Carl.

Thankyou to Sue and her Daughter for everything yesterday, the day begun with you getting up early to prepare and cook the breakfast for 40 saints Fans to which they throughly enjoyed!! It's started the day off for them and Callum was grateful you didn't give him Tomatoes!! After this we all started to arrive early for the game and to get a seat and you guys worked hard serving us all. Half time you provided us with a chilly, Garlic Bread and Roast potatoes which was lovely so again Thankyou for that. Finally after your long day you stayed open for the disappointed fans to allow them a drink!! So Sue a massive thankyou to you and your staff, the day was very enjoyable and successful!!! рҹҳҚрҹҳҚрҹ‘Ҹрҹ‘Ҹрҹ‘Ҹрҹ‘Ҹxxx

Great pub proper British pub great selection of ales friendly staff .they have bands playing sometimes worth a visit and with me living in upper Shirley Southampton I'm more then happy travelling to this pub . Mark crowley

Like this pub, a typical local with no airs and graces. They also do my favourite cider - Stofford Press, i don't think another pub in Totton supplies this.
