Pennywell Farm

New piglets! April delivered her 8 piglets last night and has them snuggled in her little nest. You can see them today in the barn.

Looks like it's clearing up outside but don't forget there is a FREE wet weather return ticket if it rains during your visit. Pack a jacket and some sunscreen and head on up for 10am!

Now that the beach weather is taking a break, Pennywell Farm is the place to be!

What’s not to love? Dozens of cute baby animals that you’re allowed to cuddle, feed and snuggle, hot food and coffee, ice cream and sweets and numerous activities for the kids to get stuck into. Great day out - with or without the little ones 😁

We were recommended by a friend and it didn't disappoint. Fantastic value for a great family day out. My family loved it. The staff were super friendly - especially Chris who made us feel like VIPs. There were so many hands on animal experiences, by far the best farm we have ever visited. Two of my children said the piggy cuddles were the highlight of our holiday. Thank you. I shall definitely recommend you to my friends.

We had an amazing day out today. Every member of staff were really friendly, helpful and kind. There is so much to do and so much on offer for the price. The weather didn’t dampen our day out at all and loved the fact everything did continue even though it was raining at times. All three children were entertained and loved our piggy cuddles!

We came last week while on holiday from Suffolk! We came to Pennywells two years ago while on holiday too! We absolutely love this place, it’s a “must” do! So much going on fab place felt so relaxed with my toddler, never got bored. Can’t rate this place enough, friendly staff. It’s such a good day out with something different on every 1/2hr!

We came as a big group of friends and had a fantastic day. Our girls loved getting up close with the animals and taking part in most of the activities (we will have to come back for another visit to do the rest ). A great day had by all. Thank you 😊

Visited today had a brilliant day out! The staff are really friendly and helpful. The young girl doing the bottle feeding and other activities was amazing please pass this on to her. Will defo visit again only disappointment was the competition, couldn’t give phone number to be called incase you won we had to leave before it was drawn

Visited this weekend- 4 adults and 3 young children not sure who had more fun! Amazing place, staff were very friendly, lots of animals to see and hold, plenty of play areas and the food from the cafe was great! Highly recommend! Will definitely return next time we are visiting the area.

This is the best farm we have ever been to. It had something for all ages. The staff were super friendly. We could get up close with every animal. Cuddling the different animals was fantastic. It helped my niece be more comfortable around animals. Their was suitable activities for young and older children. We had the best weather but we saw the return ticket offer if weather is bad. Honestly we couldn't fault the place. Thank you for making a farm experience so welcoming and enjoyable.

Our first visit and it was fabulous. Brought our 3 year old grandson. He absolutely loved his time at Pennywell. We stayed almost 4 hours but had to leave as had a young puppy at home. Everything was perfect and just right for young children. We will certainly be back. Soon.

My youngest visited on a school trip when it was snowy. He absolutely loved it, and when I asked the kids to make a list of things we had to do before moving away from Devon it was TOP of his list. We went today, it rained, we had a great time. We took my been-there-seen-that-89-times-slightly-Gr inch-like dad with us and even he enjoyed himself (I have to confess, I ate his free Father’s Day pasty, but he liked the look of the cakes on offer more). Eldest child didn’t want to come, wanted to do other things... sulked when I said it was time to leave.

I wish we’d visited sooner (and that I’d brought a coat), but it’s definitely on the list of things we’ll do again when we get the chance.

Great fun for all the family. Plenty of things to do. Well thought out place with free tractor and train rides. Very clean and animals well looked after. Special thanks to young blonde girl serving food (salad) in cafe who helped with my tray. Credit to your company

Fabulous farm. �Our 3rd visit and will be going back! My children are aged 7 & 4 and they still loved it.

The staff are friendly, Mark is brilliant! He’s so good with the children, involving them with all the animals.

Farm itself has plenty going on and a whole day can be spent there.

We take a picnic so can’t comment on food however both cafes look nice and clean.

Great value for money.

Best day out in Devon - my kids love it! We have already been about 10 times after discovering it a couple of months ago. The staff are so friendly and laid back. There are loads of things to do so you can easily fill a whole day. The best thing is the petting area, where the kids can hold baby miniature pigs, baby goats, guinea pigs, rabbits, mice, ducklings, chicks... Amazing! I can't recommend it enough.

As a childminder, Pennywell is a regular visit. The children love it and there is always something different to see or do.

The staff are so friendly and informative The food and in particular the cakes in the cafe and coffee shop are very nice!!



I use the kennels for my dog which are well kept and clean with fresh water available.

Absolutely fantastic day. Our first time visiting and my girls loved every minute of it. When we first arrived I thought we would be in and out in an hour but we stayed the whole day joining in on all the well organised activities. Farmer Pete is a credit to you, lovely man who you could tell genuinely enjoyed being there. Lexi was excellent with the children and while planting the pots had everyone involved and happy. Plenty of areas to eat, we brought our own picnic but the food you had on offer looked good particularly the salad bar. All staff very friendly, smiley and helpful. Would highly recommend Pennywell Farm to anyone with children�

Absolutely amazing day out mike the tractor driver took his time out of his break to take my daughter on the tractor as we missed it throughout the day what amazing member of staff to do this made my daughters day thank you Pennywell farm we had a brilliant day �

A first class attraction lotts to do so get there for 10am opening as there are activities all day, all the staff are great and make you feel very welcome, my little girl loved holding the animals as did everyone the Rocket tractor ride went down very well ,a lovely farm i cant recommend it enough see you soon thanks to all

Had a wonderful day out at pennywell today at the start of the unicorn week kids alittle disappointed as no pony rides and they did the unicorn challenge as because we couldn’t stay till half 4 they didn’t get entered into the draw � got to say I have been coming for years and this is the first time I have been disappointed xxx

Absolutely loved it here!!! Only thing letting it down was the food and drinks. Bit Expensive for what it is, went to order some chips but after seeing flys all over them it put us off.

Will defo take a picnic next time!!

Apart from that we had a fabulous time and after 3 and a half hours here walking around, cuddling piggy’s and playing it wiped us all out!! Can’t wait to go back again! X
