Perham Down

Perham Down is a village in Wiltshire, England, near Ludgershall and Tidworth. It is on the edge of Salisbury Plain about 6mi northwest of Andover, Hampshire and is often referred to by locals as Perham. The village is in Tidworth civil parish. ArmyIn 1915 a hutted camp was built on Perham Down. The barracks were rebuilt between 1972 and 1974 and renamed Swinton Barracks at that time.
