An afternoon of acoustic music in this lovely country pub in Whimple

Well what can I say you were perfect loads of wonderful comments, the music was great your voice is amazing. I had one guest ask if you did guitar lessons perfect part to our wonderful wedding day thank you so much I will recommend you to everyone

We hired Phil Smyth for the day for our wedding on 11/08/18. He is the ultimate professional and really helped us feel at ease. He was so easy to communicate with and catered for all of our needs.



He was very flexible and happy to work completely around our vision for the day. He initially performed in the church during the signing of the register and then played three further sets and even brought percussionist along in the evening for more upbeat performances. At no point did he clockwatch, he was able to judge the vibe from our guests and sung and played (as a DJ) all the songs to fill the dance floor. All our guests commented on how incredible he was and we are so glad we made the decision to hire him. Thank you Phil, you were incredible and really added to the best day of our lives, we will remember it forever.

We booked Phil for our wedding last week! What a show he put on! Everyone loved it!! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him! It wasn't just the show he put on which amazing, his advice, help and effort that he put into our wedding reception was first class.... he even learnt our first dance song!! The guys a hero and his show is top notch!

We booked Phil for our wedding day on the 23rd April 2016. Phil did a fantastic job entertaining our guests in the evening reception and we were so pleased we booked him. He is an amazing guitarist and singer and we were blown away when we heard the songs he played. Loads of our guests approached us during and at the end of the night to say how brilliant Phil was. Phil is also great at getting the crowd going and getting people up dancing including the older members of the wedding party. He is also a top bloke and made the evening entertainment go seamlessly. The evening was absolutely perfect and a real highlight of the day. Shelley and I highly recommend Phil you definitely won't be disappointed 5 star!!!!

Professional, great choice of songs and not at all phased by our song requests! Performed a brilliant acoustic set at our wedding which made the day even more perfect. Phil was really easy going, great value for money and a nice guy! Would recommend him. Thanks Phil.

Phil was great both before and during our wedding. When we met him beforehand he was full of enthusiasm and good ideas. We were extremely impressed with the quality of Phil's playing and his professionalism, even learning new songs to play during the ceremony. Many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed his set. He was very reasonably priced and we would certainly recommend him to others.

Phil was an amazing performer at our wedding at the beduthan hotel, mawgan porth. He learnt songs for our ceremony and our first dance and had our guests dancing from the start. He is a brilliant guitarist! All our guests commented on what a great performer he is. We are so pleased that we booked him and would love to see him perform again. We highly recommend him.

Phil was a brilliant choice for our daughter's wedding on the 30th April! He was there all day, playing acoustically for the ceremony and during the Wedding Breakfast and a full blown set in the evening. I don't know where he gets the energy and stamina from. He was great, consulting the happy couple on their song choices before the big day and delivering with an A** on the day. Great voice; great musician and a really lovely guy. Many of our guests remarked on his performance and I think he has made a lot of new fans. Thank you again. :)

I booked Phil to play at my 40 th party on recommendation from a friend having not seen him play before. I have to say I was not disappointed he was amazing. He played a whole range of songs a got almost everyone up dancing creating a wonderful atmosphere. Also he is a lovely guy too. I will definitely be using him next time we need live music.
