Here's Snoop, Violet, Vinnie and Esther, the latest lovely bunch of Puppy Club graduates. They all had a great time making friends, while their families learnt about a wide variety of puppy related topics such as feeding, health checks and care, parasite control (always a good one with real samples....not for the squeamish!) and some very basic training. If you'd like to join in and have a puppy aged between 8 and 14 weeks please give us a call on 01305 848820, or message us

Here are some of the many ways in which we are using our K laser to assist in our care for your pets. It aids healing, reduces swelling in soft tissue and relieves pain. We are using it routinely to aid post operative recovery as well as for musculo-skeletal and specific conditions. In these pictures David is treating a Bonelli's eagle with a sore toe, Dude the Rottweiller who has a cruciate injury and Rory the Greyhound who has a stiff shoulder. Finally, Dude is letting us know exactly what he thinks of wearing the 'doggles' to protect his eyes!

Beautiful sightings on local beaches, be careful walking your pooches, and don't touch!
If stung then rinse with plenty of water (using urine is a bit of a myth) and seek medical advice

🐶**New for 2020**🐱 There are going to be quite a lot of new and exciting services we will be able to offer our clients in the coming year, and although we have already been using this in 2019 here is the official launch of the first of them.
We now have a K laser on the premises, this equipment speeds up healing and reduces pain and inflammation. We are using it routinely post operatively and for many musculo-skeletal conditions. Here you can see the adorable Roxy who had a...n infected uterus which had to be removed, and the laser therapy being applied. The last picture shows the minimal scarring that she was left with. If anyone would like to know more about it or feels their pet may benefit from laser treatment please don't hesitate to ask, or follow this link

Congratulations to our vet Minda and his wife on the safe arrival of their baby girl Emilija. We wish you all the best as you start your life as a family of 3!

Poor Red came in today with a fish hook stuck in her upper lip, after sedation to remove it she feels a lot happier now. Please be careful when walking your dogs anywhere near fishing areas, they are opportunistic scavengers by nature and anything that smells as if it might be tasty is very appealing to them, they don't think of possible consequences!

Here at the surgery we have just shown our respect and gratitude to all those, whether human or animal, who gave their lives for us all. We will remember them.

***UPDATE - OWNER FOUND***
We have had a rather lovely, small breed, stray dog brought in to us overnight. He is absolutely fine, but unfortunately we were unable to contact his owner!
He has now been reunited and is home safe and sound, thank you to everyone who shared and helped get him home!
