We’ve been caravanning in France and the UK for over 30 years and this is by far one of the best caravan parks we’ve stayed at - excellent staff and service and facilities are first class. We come back every year and have been doing so almost without exception for the past ten years - wonderful ❤️

We’re on our way home to Scotland after our fifth time at Polmanter. The fact we keep making a 500+ mile trip to this site speaks volumes! It’s a beautiful site with fully serviced pitches, great facilities, lovely bar & restaurant & we can take a nice walk into St Ives which is an added bonus (although we usually get the bus back!) Also, lots of kid for our kids to make friends with. We’ll hopefully be returning for the sixth time next year :-)

We having been to Polmanter every year for about the last 18 years. It’s always been a lovely site but over the years we have watched it develop into an even more attractive and welcoming touring park. I’d never go anywhere else, it has excellent facilities and the staff are lovely, always helpful and like one big family!!

This site is just fantastic. We have been spoilt by the manicured gardens and friendly staff. We looked around at other sites & said, no one can beat this park. As we walked past reception on our way to the dog walk, we could hear new comers saying, wow this is nice. Looking forward to returning. �

This place is THE best place we have stayed in!! It's so clean, friendly, peaceful and stunning!!! I've told everyone I know about how amazing it is! Can't wait to come back!

This is the second time we have stayed at Polmanter, and it was obvious the owners are determined to keep improving the park from the moment we spied the beautifully new Reception area and shop!



We like Polmanter because it is so convenient for St Ives. Last time we were attending a wedding - so it was largely convenience - this time we were able to enjoy more of what the Park has to offer, including eating in The Stable Bar. We had a couple of minor grumbles about this meal (how can a beetroot salad not include beetroot?) but these were soon remedied.



The staff were unfailingly helpful and polite, the grounds are immaculate and the facilities clean and well-maintained. I just wish we'd brought our swimming costumes, as the weather was superb!

Perfect location and perfect site what a lovely holiday iv had from the moment I arrived to the moment I left nothing was to much trouble, I was stressed about my puppy’s food as it’s frozen Polmanter team sorted this for me thank you very very much now I no it’s not an issue for my next holiday with you, food amazing and beautiful weather thank you for a amazing week.

Mother's day wouldn't have been as special if we had decided to have lunch else where...

The staff were very friendly @ the Stable bar, the roast beef was superb (plenty of well seasoned tasty veggies) and the horse radish sauce was the best we've had in a long time.

Best of all is that the kids can enjoy the soft play area before and after their meal, giving parents time to chat and relax a little.

We look forward to going back sometime soon.

Love this site. The pitches are fantastic. The soft play is a bonus with two play parks for younger and older children. The toilets and showers are immaculate and lots of them with the bonus of baby baths. Fresh drinking water taps spread out. Well maintained, very clean and tidy site. Shop on site with laundry room and pot wash areas. Can’t recommend enough, soo glad we came back this year!

Just setting off home from an amazing weekend in this beautiful place! From the warm friendly welcome, to the breakfast in the Stable Bar before departure.....everything was perfect. The apartment was just stunning. We usually stay at Polmanter in our caravan so this was an extra bit of luxury in one of our favourite places. There has been so much thought go into the detail and furnishings inside. My daughter thought the Bluetooth speakers in the bathroom and the Wii in the bedroom were wonderful! The welcome basket of goodies was also a lovely surprise! There really are no negative comments to be made about the standard of the apartment. We would highly recommend a stay here and will definitely be back again. Thank you so much for allowing us to be the first family to enjoy the stay here!

Just home from our second year running at Polmanter and have booked to return again next year. The site is fantastic. Plenty of facilities, all clean and well presented. The staff are happy and helpful, perfect to top off our holiday in the beautiful St Ives 😍

Just got back from week at your site have been camping in Cornwall for the last 20 years have always stayed at Hayle but thought this year we would give somwhere else a try as our boys no longer wish to be associated with mum and Dad LOL

Anyway can't say enough about your site it was fantastic the facilites are top and the staff are great.

If you are considering a camping trip to Cornwall I would recommend a vist to this campsite it has everything you need and although we don't have a dog the site is Dog friendly.

Just got back from a fantastic holiday in st Ives made extra special with this amazing camp site. The whole site was immaculate, the staff very helpful and friendly and very patient with our girls and their friends. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone we spoke to had been coming to this little gem for decades!! The facilities were 1st class and spotlessly clean , the little things like a freezer room for freezer blocks with no charge, hairdryers in the shower rooms, separate areas for cleaning dogs and washing pet beds rather than the main laundrette, are what make this place stand out. Our girls (7,9) had an amazing time ! We will definitely be visiting again.

I’ll be very sad to leave here in the morning. We’ve had one of our best years at Polmanter this year. Amazing site with amazing staff. The owners put so much effort to improve it year on year. It’ll be our 9th year next year. See you then Polmanter xx

Its a 690 mile drive to Polmanter from our home in Aberdeenshire, but it was totally worth it for our first proper holiday in our tent. The site was beautiful and facilities all so clean. The amazing weather definitely helped. Our top tip would be the St Ives Surf School - all 4 of us managed to get on our feet before the end of our lesson. Loved every minute! Thanks Polmanter!

I really can't think of anything negative about this campsite. It's the cleanest and nicest campsite we've stayed on. If you have little ones the baby baths are fantastic. The restaurant staff are lovely and the food was great. It's not the cheapest campsite but they obviously put the money back into the site and staff. I highly recommend it.

An absolutely amazing site. Can't fault any part of it. We stayed for a week, in our tent, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. St Ives is beautiful. I loved it. The beaches are also stunning, having good weather helped too.

The toilets/showers were very well maintained and clean. The food in the restaurant was good and the shop had the necessities (a little pricey but most touring park shops are, so not an issue). We used the laundry facilities too which was also fantastic. The staff were friendly and cheery,

A beautiful site with an amazing array of facilities and warm friendly staff throughout. We were pitched on 279 of the upper tier in the Rosewall section, the pitch was enormous, accommodating our 3 metre deep awning with ease and lots of room to spare, I mention this because one of the major caravan/camping clubs actually don’t cater for this size on some of their parks. The view from the pitch across the headland above St Ives meeting the Atlantic was stunning. We also have 2 dogs and the thought and care that has gone into accommodating our furry family are second to none, with a dedicated exercise field and a dog shower with dog shampoo, yes you heard it right a dedicated luxury dog wash! The shower blocks are immaculate and spotlessly clean no matter what time of day. The stable bar food and drinks were excellent, well presented and very reasonably priced. The walks around the area are beautiful and only a short walk into St Ives, so no need to drive plus the park run a return bus service in and out, up until around 22:15. In conclusion an all round 5 star park with manicured landscapes coupled with an absolute master class in customer service.
