Pleasant place to eat in the hisroric Royal William Yard. Great service, excellent food and drink. Great for lunch or dinner with friends. Frequent visitors and always enjoy. Thank you Prezzo and your lovely team

My friend booked up for a special occasion. We arrived and were seated right away. A bucket of Prosecco was brought to the table, with the most gorgeous glasses and bucket we had ever seen (we wanted to take them home!) Our lovely waitress came back and we ordered our starters and mains. The meal was delicious and throughout the evening we were very well taken of...so much so my friends ended the evening with dessert and me a cappuccino. It was a great evening with delicious food, friendly staff, great atmosphere and great company....we couldn't have asked for more. We are definitely coming back. It was great the staff asked for our orders a few times but gave us lots of time to decide and answered questions on different dishes on the menu. The food was delicious and got to us extremely quickly we were surprised at how fast our order arived. We also got to use our Tesco vouchers so that was the icing on the cake.

Great value and we really enjoyed our lunch there today with the grandchildren!

Great food, huge portions and excellent service! I like the fact that anybody will help and take your order and not just a dedicated waiter. Top restaurant we will def come again!

Delicious 1st class food. Infusion of flavours ,looked colourful and interesting to eat. Our compliments to the chefs . Quick ,efficient service and the staff were very friendly . This is the 4th time of visiting,visited as a couple and also a big group ,both times were great!We like the atmosphere also.Thank you .

Staff were very attentive and nothing too much trouble when 3 of us changed food order from what was shown on menu. The birthdsy cake was brought out with a decorated plate for sons birthday. Lovely venue snd lovely food grest staff

Eating here was a pleasure, the food was fresh and varied. It arrived promptly and thankfully hot! The waiting staff were friendly and attentive and very kind and accommodating of the children, offering them paper and crayons with their menus. There were a couple of parties celebrating birthdays, one of which was ours and I felt the ambience and good cheer went a long way to help us celebrate. Thank you and we will definitely be returning.

Not enough staff on. Even the kitchen staff were helping because people were complaining they could see their food ready, but no waiters/waitresses to serve. Food average and not very hot. Usually have good food and service, so hope this is a one off!

First time we've ever been to a Prezzo, the food did not let us down! It was incredible, but it was just the atmosphere that let it down. It was a given it was a Saturday night so it would be busy, so we booked for 5:30 so it would be nice and early to beat the rush. But as the restaurant filled up, it became extremely claustrophobic because all the tables are so close to each other! We felt like we were sat with the families on the tables either side of us, it was awkward! And to be honest, it just made us want to leave, so we rushed our main, paid and left, when really we would have liked to have stayed for longer and enjoyed our meal out, but the lack of personal space and intimacy in the restaurant just ruined the experience.

Any other day my favourite restaurant in Plymouth but unfortunately not tonight. Breaded Mozzarella was undercooked so had to go back. Side of fries with mains were stone cold so again went back and came back the total opposite so were not paid for. Have never sent a meal back but unfortunately had to twice tonight. Been eating here for a good few years now and never had any problems before. On the plus note...service was excellent as usual. Will hopefully be back to your usual good overall standard next time.

Unfortunately today we were made to feel like a nuisance in the restaurant! We hadn't booked a table but were happy to wait after waiting 45 minutes with no communication and with tables empty we then had to go and ask if we were going to get a table to the reply of what do you expect me to do we are busy. After saying we were happy to have a 4 seater table with chairs on ends as there were 6 of us we were sat through and then waited a further 15-20 minutes without menus to then have to ask if we could have a menu to look at!!!

Staff seem to be more preoccupied with cleaning tables than keeping the current customers happy!

Very disappointing when we have had some lovely experiences here!���

Ok if you have all day to spare. The service is terrible waited 45 mins to for our order to be taken and about another 30 mins for the food to arrive, to be fair our waiter was lovely but more staff are needed at weekends. Food was left on the side for ages before the waiters had time to take it to the table. The drinks took ages to come, over 30 minutes, the barperson just got the drinks ready and left them on the bar waiting for someone to take them to the table. She then stood there for ages doing nothing she could have bought them to the table, in the end we went over to get them ourselves. The food was very nice though, if not quite hot enough but we were so hungry by then I didn't want to complain otherwise would have had to wait even longer. Most of the staff, not all looked as though they would rather be anywhere else but there. Was amazed to see that a service charge of £21 had been added to our bill, needless to say I didn't pay it. Would not come back here again if I had anything else to do that day. Shame really because it spoilt the occasion of a special birthday.

However last night the food we received was mediocre, pizza was overcooked so couldn't cut it. The worst part of the evening was watching two of the chefs go outside for a "small break" when returning one went straight to wash is hands the other did not and his chefs whites jacket was disgustingly dirty. It really put us off and I cannot see us visiting again.

Evacuated because of a false fire alarm. Crab cakes were crab balls and not very flavourful. My wife had three large gin and tonics. Same ingredients. Two in the same size glass and both were different prices. Because I asked for the third in a Bombay glass apparently it became a cocktail and was even more expensive. Disgraceful and I shall never eat there again. Or any other Prezzo for that matter.

After all had arrived the order was taken, 9 meals arrived but we waited a further 6 minutes for a salad to arrive. Then another couple of minutes passed before we were offered the cheese. During the meal we were asked if we required extra drinks, part of the order was taken & the waiter left without taking the reminder, which we then had to ask for. The food was good. After giving the dessert order we waited rather a long time till it arrived. Another order for a drink was placed & instead of a glass of spirit a coffee arrived it was at this point I was totally fed up with service! We were celebrating my son's birthday & although it did not totally ruin the meal I expected more. We were given the bill without asking for it, making us all feel we were an inconvenience. I had the service charge removed because I felt we did not receive a good service. We will not dine here again. The 2 stars were for the food

Although the food is generally quite nice the service was appalling. Waiter was kind enough but the delay in order was a joke. 1 hour waiting for drinks, followed by another 1/2 hour wait for starters, finished by another 1 hour wait for mains! An area that defo needs improving! Will only return on quieter days!

Went here last night for my friends birthday meal. Company was great. However, service was awful! Our drinks orders were taken in a disjointed fashion. Drinks were forgotten about. I had a cocktail stick in the middle of my cheesecake and wasn't compensated at all for this. Our bill was confused with another bill so we ended up having to pay for someone else's bill. Granted it was cheaper but was such a faff at the end of our night. Staff clearly didn't know what they were doing and I will not be visiting again in a hurry!
