The company was started by Paul Norris in 1988. He had worked in the optical industry as Marketing Manager for Essilor and has worked in optics ever since.

PCDL is owned and run by Paul Norris who has worked in marketing and advertising optics since 1985. Previously Paul worked in marketing in the food ingredients industry. Paul was Essilor's Marketing Manager when he left Essilor in 1988 to start his own business, originally as a photographer. Paul quickly moved into graphic design, originally specialising in magazines and printed materials, but increasingly in digital media.
Paul also offers broad copywriting skills for advertising, brochure, articles and body copy and have written much of the copy for magazines I have prepared.
I have also produced corporate iD for clients, as well as printed and digital documents.
I have lectured in many parts of the world on face-to-face communication skills for opticians.
I'd like to make sure that keep up with the changes in my industry and offer the widest-possible service to my customers. In July 2014 I created a new website to promote my marketing services, specifically to the optical industry.
